FOP - Inquiry on Strategy

I was the unfortunate with no FP for FOP when we go on our trip. We aren't morning people, so RD isn't an option and we only have a half day at AK.

So we are planning to go to AK at another night after Candlelight processional (5pm show). Skipping ROL, we wanted to get food to go (mobile order) at Pizzafari and hightail it to get in queue line for FOP. Assuming we get delayed after Candlelight, would it be possible to bring food in the FOP queue line? If not, we will plan accordingly. I just wanted some insight on how you guys approach FOP without FPs. I didn't think FOP was this popular still...boy was I wrong.

Not having been to Avatar land myself, I am not exactly sure of policies for new rides or themed lands. However from past experience you are able eat in line, as long as you are able to dispose of your trash. Yeah it is incredible the wait times and popularity of this ride. Wait times have exceeding 3-4 hours some days.

You should be able to eat in line. There are trash cans throughout the queues, especially if there are long waits. We're going this weekend and did not get a FOP fast pass, so we will be queuing, too. This ride will be popular for years. It's beyond amazing and if Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is any indication (opened in 2014 and still has long wait times), the wait times won't go down anytime soon. It's worth the wait, though!
