Haven’t been back since genie plus…

Here goes: heading down Memorial Day weekend.

For AK priorities are FOP, safari, Everest and Navi

If I login in right at 7 will I likely get an ILL for the morning for FOP?? (Party of 7) Or should I plan to do AK in afternoon for peace of mind? In that case.. can I start stacking genie plus LL for other attractions.. if my park res is NOT for AK will It automatically offer me later times?

I’d prefer to try make my park res for AK that day and do it all in the morning. Do you think that’s a realistic option?

Sorry this question is so convoluted, hope it makes sense!

Haven't been since spring break last year, but...

We arrived an hour before opening for rope drop. Bought ILL's for my group of 3 while walking to FOP - had my pick of times but choose 11am. Booked a regular LL for Safari (for 9:45am) while walking through the FOP queue.

Walked right onto FOP, then had a 5 minute wait for Navi.

Walked onto Dinosaur immediately after.

Everest was closed (but I assume it would have been a less than 10 minute wait at this point in the day), so rode Kali twice with no wait.

Still had plenty of time to kill before Safari so we did It's Tough To Be A Bug and wandered around Africa and the Gorilla trail for a while.

We rode FoP five times across three days (three of those were ILL) in the week before Christmas (and after Avatar 2 opened). The ILLs go early, but not 7:05 early. I always bought them before 7:10, but I think they are available for a bit of time. Looking this past week, they've sold out before 9:00 (when I glanced). That was an extremely busy week, but I think you can book for Genie+ ride before transitioning to FoP ILL in any case. On all three days, we G+'ed the Safari, and I G+'ed Na'vi the last day as my second reservation (Safari was always first). Once you G+ Safari, you can utilize Modify Plans to shape it into the time you want. And ILLs can be ridden after your entry time all the way through park close, so you can stack/schedule big finishes if you like.

The other two FoP rides we rope-dropped, getting there around when they opened for resort guests (not extra early, and usually with a ten minute wait to get through the ticketing queue). We had about a 45 minute and a 65 minute wait respectively for those.

I would buy an LL for flight. Early entry Navi (walk on) and Everest (walk on, you might be able to do it twice) and then rope drop safari before it opens. Yes the early mornings are that good,
