FOP FP day of

I was unable to get a FP for FOP for the first day of my trip. I'm planning to go to AK by myself that evening. Should I get my hopes up for finding a FP by refreshing the app that day or is it a lost cause?

Don't get your hopes up, but definitely try.

I had a Na'vi FP for late Monday afternoon, in spite of trying for weeks to modify it to FoP. I tried it at about 9:30 am Monday morning, and finally got it!

Very, very rare, but it's happened a few times. With a party of 1, you might have a very slight edge.

I think you're better off focusing on strategies to get on it without a FP, such as utilizing rope drop or Extra Magic Hours.

I'm a Florida local so we always decide last minute where we want to go...most times the same day. We are only a party of 2 but we have always been able to get FP for FOP by checking the night before between 10 and 11pm...seems like hotel guests are back to their rooms and adjusting plans. Also have had great success day of by refreshing
