FOP and the big and tall

There have been several discussions. No one can say for certain as there are many variables at play with the different restraints but you will probably fit. You can always ask a CM to try the test seat. It seems there are not the issues there were in the beginning in regard to getting people to fit. The CMs will help people and tell them the best way to sit and place their feet.

Hi everyone im 6 ft 5 with a gut will i fit on FOP
The board Search function isn't working today. There is a FoP thread with "Person of Size" in the title and DISers shared their waist measurements to assist others in determining if they could enjoy riding FoP.

That was a very informative thread and may be helpful to you if you disregard the posts from those who felt they were free to shame people due to their size.

The other helpful thread with discussion on fitting on FoP is the main Pandora thread:
https://www.disboards.com/threads/official-pandora-the-world-of-avatar-information-thread.3587311

When the Search function is working, you can Search that specific thread for "fit" or "test seat" to read posts specific to your needs.

And as @Capang stated, it's best to try the test seat prior to entering the FoP line.

I'm 6-3, 357 (4 XLT shirts, 50-inch waist on my jeans) and I did not fit once I got to the actual ride. it was not a problem with my calves; it was my gut, and they couldn't get the back to click in. We didn't try for long -- maybe a minute or less, and if there were tips that might have helped, the CM didn't offer them.

CMs were very nice, replaced my FP, did not embarrass me in front of my kids or other guests, but the bottom line was I did not fit. So if you are close to my size, be forewarned.

The test seat is a test, not a guarantee. My hubs tried the test seat and the back didn't click for him but it was close. So we rope dropped it one morning and he knew he might not be able to ride but wanted to at least see the queue. When he got on the back clicked in just fine but the leg restraints would not lock. He tried different positions and the cm tried to help but it just didn't work. He was disappointed especially after the back thing lock, as he was waiting for me the cm said that she had seen more people have trouble the the legs and not the back restraint. Anyway, I just wanted to point out that the test seat isn't the same as the actual ride seat so it might or might not work.
