FOP and motion sickness

My parents are coming with us on our trip the week after thanksgiving and my dad is very susceptible to motion sickness. He was also diagnosed with Alzheimer last year so I really want him to enjoy this trip. Any tricks to prevent motion sickness? Any experience with FOP for people that get motion sickness?

Has he done Soarin before? I would test how he is on that first.
