Does anyone know if, on a Saturday lunchtime, ESPN have Sky Sports or anything showing the footie results? DBf has suddenly had the great idea we could trot over there to catch up with the scores back home (Don't know why, both our teams will have lost and then there will be sulks for the rest of the day:goodvibes)

You will probably find one of the countless TVs is tuned in to SKY SPORTS NEWS, usually is and you can see the results from watching that probably.
So answer is yes. :)

The only place ive ever found to watch any football was hooters! The only other way of watching it is on ESPN in your room, if you have it, but they only put the premier league scores on!

Your only other options would be finding an English pub i.e the cricketers arms, if its still open

For watching games you are right about the Cricketer's, there are also several pubs down the 192 in Kissimmee and a few places down I-drive, such as TGI Friday's Front Row sports bar and Miller's Ale House - all these will show LIVE Premier League football.
However, ESPN generally always have one of the many many TVs tuned it to SKY Sports News, so the results would be available on that.

Hobbes , you will catch the same epl games live as they are showing in the uk .Typically 1230 or the evening kick offs 5pm , i watched a couple of the 1230 being 730 us time , which worked well before the kids surfaced , their are updates throughout the day

Thanks everyone for your replies-I flatly refuse to watch the footie whilst we're there (I'm missing 2 live on Sky Liverpool matches but why spoil the holiday?;)) DBf is a coventry fan so as long as he knows the score, we can both have a miserable day....

I agree about watching footy when in florida, I don't see the point.
When we were there for my wedding some of my friends wanted to watch Chelsea V Liverpool (which we won 1-0 too!!) but I wouldn't let them and we all spent the day at Magic Kingdom! I watch football all the time at home (season ticket at Anfield, go
to 80% of away games too) so think of it as a break when I'm in Florida :lmao:

I try and stay away too - by the way small world, I am a season ticket holder at Liverpool too for over 20 years in the Lower Centenary. :)

I have to admit I do try to stay away, but while there last time in March it was Arsenals champions league quarter final with Villareal, and I ended up in Hooters watching it with a few other Arsenal fans. I had a really good time, cheap beer, the food is what it is, but the atmosphere was great. I know Hooters isnt alot of peoples cup of tea, but I really enjoyed my night in there!

Small world indeed, been a season ticket holder in the Kop since I was 14! But on holiday I feel no need to find a place showing the match when I can be enjoying Orlando's charms :)
