Ok... so my hubby is freaking out..lol.. we are traveling to disney during football season.. so on a football sunday.. where can we go to watch the games.. we are staying at the Poly.. any info would be appreciated.

i don't think it will be too bad.
i would imagine it would be somewhat busy in the ESPN bar at the BW

You can reserve a spot at ESPN by Boardwalk, an upfront fee, but I think it counts as a credit for food and beverages.
Most resorts have a bar with TV

There's also Splitsville in Disney Springs.

all of the resort hotels have at least one bar with TV's that will be showing games, some more than others. If you want to stay on property there are places like ESPN at BW as PP stated, or even head over to ESPN Wide World of Sports where they have places to watch sports with beer stands, or the numerous bars and restaurants at DS like Splitsville. You can go offsite to the CrossRoads shopping plaza directly across from Hotel Plaza Blvd. where there is a large Buffalo Wild Wings or just down the street from there is an Orlando Ale House.

If it were me, I would go to the Contemporary and watch it at the Wave bar. Quick easy trip from the Poly.

Sorry to hear that. I'm a huge NFL fan myself, but I sacrificed a few games for Disney last year. As much as I love watching the game, I have more fun in the parks.

But maybe you can incorporate it into a nice break from running around the parks. ESPN Zone, Splitsville would be my first two thoughts. Your hotel room?

Our family is more of a college football family than NFL, so I have the same problem except on Saturday. We live in what we consider to be a major player in the NC race each year, and we will be down for two Saturdays. One game is not as crucial as the other (unless we should lose), but hopefully we will be at the airport by the time the big game begins on our second Saturday.

With the Championship game in Tampa this year,I'm combining a trip to WDW with a trip over to Tampa for the big Game!

It doesn't get any better that that for WDW/College Football fans!!!!:)

We thought about delaying our September trip JUST IN CASE we are going for a repeat championship, but went ahead and booked for September anyway. And who knows, if we are in the game, that would just be another reason for a return trip to WDW and the game.

Also, the College Cheerleading Championships are at ESPN WWoS January 13-15,so that is going to be such a fun week to be at WDW!:)

OP, tell your hubby there are lots of football fans at Disney. It's always a lot of fun to wear your team gear to the parks. Tons of people do, and it's great seeing all the teams represented. As for watching games, ESPN Club is great if you can get in. Splitsville also has a sweet set-up.

My husband and I both have fantasy teams as well (we have actually been playing each other while at Disney World :)) and we just look at our phone apps while in the parks to keep track of what is going on. But, if your husband is not a park fan, I'd make that Sunday an Epcot day and put him at the ESPN Club and you can dash in and out if you want during the day.

My husband went to the ESPN Club while I enjoyed strolling around the World Showcase, snacking and drinking at my leisure.
