Foot in Boot

I have had one on now for 3 weeks and went back to the doctor today to see what the next step would be (it still hurts every so often). I am going to be in the boot for another month and a half.

I have an extra bone in my foot that I didn't know I had until after I came back from WDW. I really agrivated it there and my orthopedic is trying to get it tightened back up (the tendon that helps with your arch attached to that extra bone) without having to do surgery.

I was kind of hoping not to have to wear the boot most of the winter, but it seems that is the case. The only good thing out of this is that my leg stays warm with the cold weather, but my toes are going to get pretty cold.

I'm sorry you have to go through winter with a boot...

I hope the end result is good, and that is the end of that for you.

I'm sorry you have to go through that. I hope you have a speedy recovery!

Wishing you the best... the good thing so far is mother nature has been pretty nice to the northeast this year...
Preventing surgery will be a good thing.

I was in a boot on and off for the last two years due to posterior tibial tendonitis. It won't really ever fully get better unless I have surgery. But the boot is a pain. The worst part is wearing it to work. I have to "dress up" for work so it looks lovely with pantyhose and a skirt.

 so sorry that you have to go through this. I am sure its hard in the winter.

Would ski socks help? or maybe those foot warmer things.

I hope you can avoid the surgery too.

Wishing you all the best.
