FOOLS: Live from Wonder and Magic

I am on the Wonder now, boarded yesterday (11/28). Another Fool, Bob (Izzinmac) is on the Magic now, checked in on Sat (11/27).

The ship is beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations. We had a tree lightening ceremony last night in the Atruim. They do the ceremony first night of every cruise from now til January.

Went to Palo's last night and as usual, Choclate Souflee for dessert, yummy!!

Right now it is a Beautiful morning, just went for a morning walk and my DD is getting her hair braided on board in a hour. We will be porting to Nassau within the hour.

If you have any questions, please ask. I will check back every often. Bob SHOULD be in checking here today...So he says...But remember he is a FOOL, so you never know....

Bob, i hope you are having a Magical time!!

Hey Melinda--
I hope my dad does check in with us fools at home--we need to let him know how the pool party at his house is going!!!!! Hopefully there will be no pending lawsuits against him from all the drunken fools getting hurt on his property, though.
I will be surprised if he checks in--I am sure this will be the one week my mom will have control over his internet usage (her 60th b.day!!).

Hi all, Izzinmac here on the Magic. This was Melinda's idea. Have to giver her credit guys.

So far a great cruise. Weather and seas are perfect. We had a great dismeet on Sat. For those of you planning one, the 3 pm at Outlook bar worked great. Met with about 20 normal people. Mark was not on this cruise!! No crowds..so we could find each other. The ship is beautiful for Christmas and is in great shape for August.

Yesterday was Mary's big 60 day. Usually i screw up birthdays but i think i got this right. I was able to surprise her with the REAS package. Also, Gassmandy had a gift package in the room. So the room looked like a "celebration" for her. Also i had ordered a Bose Wave radio as a "decoy" gift that was left home. All 6 of us to Brunch on her B day and i surprised her with a diamond pendent. Great day.

Brunch was great usual and food in general seems better. Walked 4 miles each day but need about 25 to break even with the food intake!

Since this is my 2nd attempt at 75 cents a minute, gotta go. I did hear that there was a major disturbance at WDW over the weekend. Something about a crazed woman upset that she couldn't log on to the disboards!! Melinda???

Hi Melinda: Enjoy your cruise! Several future Wonder cruisers asked me to find out whether or not there is complementary pop (soda) on the Wonder. We were on the 9/18/04 Magic and the beverage area had been expanded.

Yes, all soda are complmentary. There is a beverage station by the pools.

Weather has been beautiful. Not too too hot though...People wore shorts and others wear capris and pants. It is a wide range. Swimming at times can be chilly. Right now there is a trop deck party (taking a break!!) LOL!! and i am wearing long sleeve and capris and am comfortable. Others i have seen are wearing jackets, while others are wearing sleeveless shirts. But generally, it is warm with sometimes a lil chill in the wind...

Hey all!!!! Hope us "Turkey day cruisers" didn't leave the ship in too bad of shape!!! LOL Any miller lite left....I did my best to drain it.....Amanda I remember that out fit in your pic of you and Addison.....Anyone have Theresa as an asst server?

Bob.....I see you made it safe this year......dis meet inside so no one found out how bad you are at predicting the weather.....And all you cruisers DON'T LET BOB DO THE MATH ON HOW MANY LAPS IT IS FOR A MILE.......He was wrong last year!!! LOL

Bob (Izzi) sent me another PM tonight...Here is his message....

It's Tuesday night and we are just leaving St Martin. Another great day. Last night we had a fabulous meal at Palo's. Just took it easy today. Weather has been perfect.

On board sailing tip of the day...
While docked along another ship, make sure you keep your curtain closed!! Tonight while in line to into the Parrot Cay, we looked straight across the rooms of the Zenith. Low and behold, there was a gent pulling on his pants. The grand finale was when his wife appeared from the bathroom door stark naked. Believe me, not a pretty sight. And there is Mary screaming, "She naked!!" So all 10 of us at the windows looking toward the Zenith had a free show!!

Did get to talk to dining room staff about group seating for dinner. He sent an E mail to the person who handles that and said it should be no problem.

I haven't read the thread so don't know that Melinda came up with. More details when i get home.

Hello everyone--got a call from izzinmac's better half--my mom--and they were in St. Thomas (I believe??) getting ready to do the Champagne Catamaran sail excursion. They did it last time and LOVED it! Sounds like they are having a magical time. And Bob's trying to get info for the repo cruise next year--let's keep our fingers crossed that he doesn't forget any details--you know how old farts can get w/ remembering details!!!!!!!

Ok.. here goes.....27 inches wide X 6 1/2 foot high, 3 inches depth...

Just so you know. i went over to the #6107 room and had the ruler i borrowed from the guest services...(they did look at me funny when i requested one!) and when i was standing at the hall staring at 6107, I said to myself, there is no way i am measuring this here..you never know at any time these people can walk out sooo i went to my stateroom and measure it...They are all the same...

Getting off here tomorrow!! It has been a great cruise here! Weather has been great..Actually it is hot out tonight, no wind...

Hey Melinda, Sandy and I are having an argument about the length of the ship. I say it's 964 feet long and she says it's 965 feet long. Can you help us out by going up to Deck 9 and measuring it from bow to stern for us?? Thanks, your a doll!...Mark
