FOODIES!! Need help with Dining~

I have been to DLR and DCA many times, but haven't eaten everywhere in the parks,.......yet!!

So, we have a 3 days planned in September. What are your top 3 locations??? We have NEVER eaten at Blue Bayou, so that will most likely be in our plans this time.....

What else??? I haven't eaten at Hungry Bear.......

We love Carnation Cafe and Cafe Orleans.

What about DCA??? Never had a sit down meal there yet, only at Ariel's Grotto.........


Any advice would be appreciated...

My top 3 would be Blue Bayou, Ariel's Grotto (for lunch) and Jolly Holiday Bakery.
Can't wait to try Carthay Circle though.

ok so being a foodie myself I have to warn you about something...BB doesnt have the greatest food...the ambiance is what makes it worth going and if you havent gone before then I think you should definitely do it at least once...I just dont want to set your expectations too high...if you personally like it then great but better to have the low expectations and be surprised in a good way than up to high and get them shot to hades...that being said, they make some of the BEST jambalaya that I have eaten...its quite spicy and Im all for spicy foods...I like it way better at BB than at Jazz Kitchen in DTD and thats a new orleans based type restaurant...

Hungry Bear has of late been making really good burgers and as Girimama stated, the sandwiches at Jolly Holiday are great...

I also agree with going to Carthay...especially over Ariels Grotto

how about trying the new Flo's Diner in CL?

I also like Wine Country Trattoria oooh and go to the Cove Bar and get the lobster nachos...YUM

now if your interested in character meals, Im all for the breakfast ones and my favorite one is a tie between Minnie and Friends in DL and Surfs Up! with Mickey at PP...not too fond of Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast or dinner...

and at the hotels I love Steakhouse 55 breakfasts...if you are really into a more upscale dining experience I would say Napa Rose in the Grand

DTD...I would say Catal (upstairs)...its really nice and has a romantic feel to it...food is really good...Jazz Kitchen...

We had really good meals the couple of times we ate at Wine Country Trattoria, the pasta is delish. Hungry Bear is worth a trip as well, the lemon honey cupcake was our favorite dessert on the last trip. Surprisingly, we really liked Village Haus, the new-ish menu has some pretty tasty options. The chicken bratwurst in a pretzel roll really hit the spot!
