I wanna try the coolest foods they got at Disneyland! Can everyone tell me there favorite food and where to get it? And the most unique? Thank you!

What kind of food do you typically like? Knowing this will help us give you suggestions that may work for you :-)

I'll give you a list of our family's favorite foods/restaurants.

Dole Whips and floats, by the Tiki Room
chicken from Plaza Inn
Big Thunder Ranch BBQ (all you care to eat)
Matterhorn Macaroons from Jolly Holiday
Potatoes from Troubadour Tavern
fried tomato sandwich and onion rings from Hungry Bear
Carnation Cafe
Pomme Frites from Cafe Orleans
Broccoli Soup bread bowls at Pacific Wharf
nachos at Whitewater snacks
Flo's V8 was good for breakfast

I'm a huge fan of the Jolly Holiday these days. The beef sandwich is excellent, and the homemade potato chips are very good. I also like the Tigger Tails at the candy store in Pooh Corner.

My co-worker and I ate at Cafe Orleans this past November (Blue Bayou was closed :sad1:). I will have to say the food was amazing. Pomme Frites - amazing. I had the Mardi Gras Chicken Sandwich and she had the Three Cheese Monte Cristo. Tons of food and everything was yummy!

Some of my favorites...

Mint Julep and beignet from the Mint Julep Bar (New Orleans Square)
Dole Whip Float
Mickey Pretzel
Cupcakes, Matterhorn Macaroon at Jolly Holiday Bakery
Turkey Legs
Green Apple slushie in the twisted yard at the Mad T Party

Not really Disney, but almost everything at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen in DTD. So many yummy foods to choose from.

We haven't been to Disneyland yet (our first trip isn't until next June), however, I have been taking notes on the different snacks and food items that we have to try. Along with all of the great suggestions that have already been made, I am really looking forward to trying the chili/cheese cone from Cozy Cone Hotel in Carsland and my DD11 is very interested in the churro bites from there as well. I can't wait to try these snacks/foods too. Just reading this thread alone is making my mouth watering :goodvibes. Oh and FYI, make sure you check out that food porn thread on a full stomach rather than an empty one :rotfl:.

While the chili cheese cone was good, I actually much preferred the chicken verde cone from the same place. It had a little bit more spice and flavor, IMO. The churro bites are definitely yummy though! :goodvibes

Oooh, thanks....I've made a note of that in my list of things to try :goodvibes

Quick note on the churro bites. The chocolate dipping sauce that comes with the bites is more like chocolate pudding than an actual chocolate sauce. The bites were ok but the sauce was gross. YMMV

I read this and though you guys took a lunch break at Disneyland. :rotfl2:

HAHA...I wish I could do that. I guess I should have given a little more detail...we were at a conference in San Diego and her and I took a few days and had a girls weekend at Disneyland. It was a lot of fun.

I can't wait to try the Matterhorn Macaroons. That is on my list for my Oct. trip.
