I'dlov the Disney store !!I haven't tried R&C yet but grew up on Bangers and mash and LOVED them!! English sausages are a little different!! There s actually aRose & Crown Pub in my home town !!

Yep I’m a good planner and it was about 8pm once we headed back out but we had until midnight in Epcot!

Well, of course you are!

Please note this is one order split on 2 plates- holy huge portions!

We even got a visit from the chef and she chatted with us about the food and the cheeses on the cheese plate. She even printed out a copy of the soup recipe for me! It was a great first meal of the trip, really a perfect way to start!

We got up at 7am. Well I did. KC needs all of 30 seconds to get ready in the morning. SO I get up, shower and get ready then get him out of bed around the time I am doing my hair. He reluctantly rolls out of bed and gets dressed. It’s like this at home too. Regardless, we were out the door by 8am.
The pool looked really neat all misty in the morning as we walked by. I tried to snap a pic and as the pic looks cool it doesn’t get the misty effect. Oh well.

We went thru the food court and got some drinks. I had drunk my starbucks in the room so I just had some juice. KC made a cold hot chocolate, his official Disney drink. He mixes milk and the hot chocolate and puts it on ice. He’s weird, he likes things iced, it makes him happy.

We were on a bus to DHS in no time. Where do you think we went first??? We made it to rope drop even, and then proceeded straight to TSM. I was so excited to get KC on this ride, because I knew he would LOVE it.

We got FP’s first and jumped right onto the walk in line.

For our friend whom we call Pants:

I won!!!!!! I never beat him at games like this!!! I was so excited!

Our FP’s were for 10:10-11:10am so I didn’t wanna go too far. We wandered on over to one of my fav spots to relax when it’s too hot or rainy or whatever…

There wasn’t much going on because it was so early but Mickey did come out and there was NO ONE on the line... we were so excited!

As you can see when we were done Mickey was bored and decided to play some games too…

It was hilarious. But there wasn’t anyone else around. We checked out the new story boards that we there and then it was time for our FP so we went back to TSM for round 2!

And of course I lost horribly to KC the 2nd time.

There really wasn’t anything else we had to do in DHS so we made our way out. We did stop for the HSM3 show. I love the HSM movies. KC tolerated the few minutes we watched.

We stopped for some PP pics and ended up with an awesome photographer!

Next we decided to take the friendship boats to Epcot since the whole reason for the trip was to go to F&W! We figured by the time we got there stuff would be open and we could start some grazing around the world.

I think it’s the perfect place to leave you for now….F&W coming up next complete with the K&K Rating System!

KCs cold chocolate is actually pretty good, its a decent alternative to a drink from the food courts.

We ride RNRC but didn't feel like it this day, but TOT we don't do because neither of us likes that drop in tummy feeling. I have only ridden once when I was 18 and never since they changed the falling sequence to random.

I think it is the randomness that scares me the most -- if I knew how many times I would be dropped, I would be able to deal so much better.

Ok first off let me explain the Garcia rating system for F&W. Every night when we’d go back to the hotel I’d make KC sit with me and the F&W booklet and rate whatever we tried that day. Most of the time we agreed, but on some things we didn’t. We used a regular school type system for rating- A, B, C , D & F with the plus and minus on occasion.

On with the food porn!

We arrived at the international gateway via friendship boat from DHS and headed straight to:

KC was dying for some Escargot, his fav thing from last years trip. I let him get on the line and I took some pics around the pavilion.

A+ for the escargot, BTW. They are slathered in garlic and oil and so yummy in the puff pastry. I love them too, we split the plate even tho KC wanted one whole plate for himself. LOL.

We wandered around the shops a bit. The main plan was to slowly do the countries. Last trip I got rained out by Hurricane Fay so I wanted to really absorb the world showcase this time.

This is one of my fav pics of the whole trip!

I knew there was a wine flight in the wine shop so we headed there to partake in that. We actually learned about something else even better! It’s called the “wine Walk” and you get 2 2oz glasses from 3 different countries for $20. We decided to share one wine walk, and were so glad we did!

Here’s our French wines. Sorry I put the paper away in my scrapbooking box in the closet, one was a chardonnay and the other was a merlot. Both were REALLY yummy. We both liked them both.

I plopped down with our wine at one of the little tables and KC went into the bakery for a snack. He came back with a ham and cheese croissant.

BTW, Z I told KC the story of how I got you and Yani hooked on this place, while we sat there eating.

It was so peaceful and quiet back there. We had a great time just relaxing with our food.

KC took this one on the way out of the pavilion.

The next stop was the Louisiana area. How neat this was, we loved it!

We made a lot of jokes about New Orleans Square in Disney Land. It was a really cool area tho, neat little booths and stuff. We wandered through the whole place just taking it all in. We missed the cooking demonstrations, oh well, would have been neat tho. One of these days I’ll get to the real NOLA.

He loves the hot sauce, we always make jokes about how he’s “saucy”.

We ended up chatting with an awesome guy who owns his own swamp boat tour business. He was so nice we could have talked to him all day! He had amazing photos of his travels it was very, very cool.

Then it was time for some good southern food!

We had a Seafood Gumbo (A+) and a Crawfish Entouffee (A+). How adorable are the little bottles of hot sauce too!?

We actually brought back a few of the little bottles as souvenirs for his co workers.

We wandered toward Morocco. I was picture happy most of this trip, trying to get new photos that we don’t have a million of.

Anyone ever seen this before???? We thought it was so funny.

We really explored the shops. We saw Aladdin and Jasmine talking to some little girl on their way to the back, it was really cute. They were wandering the shops and looking at stuff, but in character. Really funny to see. I looked for a necklace I had seen in August but they didn’t have any more. Oh well.

Stupid hat time…

We skipped the Morocco booth, nothing seemed that exciting. We did hit up New Zealand.

We had Bay Scallops (A) and a Lamb Slider (B).

We had the lamb last year and it was one of KC’s favs but not so much this year. It seemed more moist last year. It was still good, just not as good. The scallops tho I was in LOVE with.

We skipped right by this lovely place.

And we skipped the Tokyo and San Francisco Booths.

Next stop:

We had the Crab Cake (A). I love me some crab cakes, one of my fav things on earth to eat!

As you can tell I was really excited to eat it, and almost forgot the picture! We sat outside the America Pavilion to eat it and rest our feet a bit. When we were done we went in search of one of 3 pressed pennies we didn’t have from the showcase, America. We found it! 1 down 2 to go (China and another that escapes me at the moment).

The next booth was a highly anticipated one!

We had Boxty (A+) and The Cheese Plate (A-).

The cheese was good, but the bread wasn’t soda bread like last year. The Boxty was amazing, we should have gotten 2. We brought it over to a bench in Italy. KC left me with the plates and went to go to stop #2 on our Wine Walk!

I don’t remember what the white was, we liked it tho. The red was a sparkling red called Rosa Regale. It was one of the best wine’s I ever had!

KC loved it as much as I did and as soon as the little glass was done we went to the shop and got this:

We have since found this wine in our local store and had a whole bottle on NYE! YUM!

We lucked out and the mime performer guy was just starting as KC sat down. We had a perfect view and we were in the shade and everything. He was so fun to watch.

We walked around in the shops for some pics too.
