Food & Wine Historical Dates?

OK..the F&W dates this year are Apr. 24-June 7. When ere they last year? Was 2008 the first year?
I'm hoping to go in '10 and am trying to figure out if May '10 would be F&W time. As a DVCer I need to be thinking this far ahead.

They have been working with the dates over the past few years of having the event. While I would say you have a good chance with May, there has not been a well enough established history to this event to say 100% for positive what the dates will be.

2008 was April 11 - May 5, 2008
2009 is April 24-June 7, 2009

This has gone from 25 days to 45 days. If this is successful and if they can get everything to work out then it may be again all of May. May would be an ideal time for the event as it would fill in the lull between Easter and Summer Vacation. Something to get the local guests to come to the parks.

April 27-May 20, 2007
April 11-May 5, 2008

I can't believe I took pics of the F&W signs, but they're helpful when finding the dates! I believe the 1st time they had it was in 2006.

Believe it or not, this is actually the 4th year of the Festival!

I just completed an interview with the Disney executive/show producer for this year's event (listen to next Wednesday's show) and he said this year's expansion is an experiment. The festival is growning by leaps an bounds and required it to be extended to accomodate everything they wanted to do.

It's probably a good bet if this year is successful (which it sounds to be from the things he described), the pattern will repeat for next year.
