Hello! This is the first time I've ever attempted any sort of TR so excuse me if it's a mess. Allow me to introduce myself.
I'm Corrie. I'm 28, a barista, and I graduate nursing school this May! I have been obsessed with Disney for as long as I can remember. I am not sure how many times I've been to WDW, but it's a bunch. I have stayed at ASMovies, ASMusic, Swan, AKL, Pop (honeymoon!), and BWV (rented points). I've been on one Disney cruise, DL once and sadly haven't made it to any other parks. I also briefly worked as a CM in The Disney Store but unfortunately the store closed. It was a blast though! My favorite Disney movie is The Emperors New Groove and Aurora is my favorite princess.
My husband's name is Rich and we have been married for two years.
He wasn't so into the idea of going to WDW but we were gifted seven day tickets at our engagement party. That sealed the deal on the Disney honeymoon.
So January 2013 we stayed at Pop for 10 days and he caught the disney bug! He hadn't been to WDW since he was little so he had no idea how much fun two adults could have. We returned for our second anniversary January 2015. We stayed at BWV on rented points. Although there was a lot of park construction we had a really amazing time, again. Our favorite new experience was Jellyrolls. So much fun! This trip was really the first time I went deep into planning. A little obsessive.
So onto the PTR. Before the last trip Rich had been pretty clear that he would be planning the next vacation and it wouldn't be Disney. Much to my surprise, by the end of our first day of the trip he said "Let's come back next January!!" Going on our anniversary is nice and you cannot beat the crowd level in January, but I really want to try the Food and Wine event. I also want to go to MNSSHP. So the plan is the last week of September into October 2016. So far away!! I'm hoping to book a standard room at CSR once the 2016 packages are released, and hopefully add the free dining discount later on (fingers crossed). I have never stayed at a moderate and CSR looks so beautiful. I know it's quite spread out. I'm planning on requesting Cabanas 9a or Casitas 4. Hoping for a little pixie dust in that department. We ate at Pepper Market on our last trip and while I see it's pretty divisive on here, we loved it. The pool area also looks great, as does Laguna bar. I am hoping for good pool weather as it was pretty chilly on our January trip. I want to drink a frozen drink and lay in the sun
Oh and we don't have any children, but we do have this guy
Too bad he can't meet Mickey
I look forward to sharing my plans with other Disney people, and reading everyone else's. Rich gets a little overwhelmed with too much trip planning talk, poor fella.
