The last time I went to the Food and Wine Festival you certainly could - in fact I had a gift card wrist band that was especially for the F & W festival. Each time I visited I preloaded how much money I wanted to spend on my gift card - it really helped with budgeting and it was convenient.

I have a $300.00 gift card specifically for the F & W Festival, as I have never been to one before...is that enough money? I don't want to have to worry about money and budgeting and stuff like that. Sorry I know these are probably dumb questions, but this is my first food and wine festival! LOL

It depends how much you want to eat...each food items is between $4-8 and wine is like $6-10 when I went back in 2012.

Disney does publish the menus, so just pick what looks good to you and add it up. I spent more than $300 but went every evening/night for 5 nights and made it my dinner.

Technically they sell a gift card that is themed to the festival and comes on a wristband for easy carrying, but that card isn't just for the festival - it's actually a regular Disney gift card and can be used anywhere else a Disney gift card can be used.

You can load it with as much as you want, but if you already have a Disney gift card and you decide you'd rather have the wristbanded one, you can't transfer the contents of one Disney gift card to another Disney gift card.
