Food & Wine Festival

Bless your heart ... one evening ... :rotfl2:

I'm not laughing at you ... it's just that my hubby and I go for 10 days almost every year and it's still not enough. :lmao:

If you want to sample everything at the Food kiosks in the world showcase you'd better come hungry - there are usually about 25 of them scattered around the lagoon.

Hope you enjoy it, whatever you end up doing. It's our favorite time of year to visit WDW! :goodvibes

I wrote a trip report (linked in my signature as the Larded and Loaded Tour) because it was mostly about the Food and Wine Festival. I've put in photos of the food booth offerings, the special dining events, and my dinners with the family members who came later during my trip.

I made an index of links in my first posts, so you don't have to search for every update, making it easier to scan. Just click the link for each update, and it will pop up a new window for it.

The size and scope of the event is huge, that one night wouldn't do justice to what you can do.

GO TO IT! Goodness, but it's yummy. There are so many choices. If you're on the dining plan, there are many things that are considering a snack credit. It gives you a chance to try things you might not would ever "waste" a regular credit on. I couldn't begin to list all of the lovely things I tried, but I can tell you that everything I tried was VERY GOOD! My little girl is an adventurous eater and loved trying all the different things. Unforunately we had tons of table services scheduled and once we got to them, we'd be all stuffed from the Food and Wine festival. :) It's well worth it!

One evening?!?! You need more than that ha ha :goodvibes

We love the F&W and go every year. Last year we went for a week and cancelled alot of our TS dinners so we can enjoy the food stands

do you guys think this is worth going to one evening? Or should we stick to just the nice restaurants?

You're cute :)

Seriously though, I'd go to F & W over most of the restaurants - lots of variety and the freedom of not being chained down by ADRs to boot...it's a win - win situation! :thumbsup2

It takes us two full days to hit every booth!! Enjoy. There is something for everyone. Great wine selections also.

You can start with Lunch in Mexico and end up in Canada for Dinner :)

I really don't know if it would work out that way or not but the booths open when World Showcase does I believe and that is after 11:00 a.m. I think. If I'm wrong someone will correct me.

But, you have to go at least one day and do it early in your trip in case you need one day more.

:)

Got to agree with all the above posters. It takes more than a single day to do all the F&W booths, but if that's all you have you should still do it over just going to one of the restaurants.

If you have to limit your F&W time to just one day, you need to strategize. Get the F&W book and mark off the items you really want to try. Limit yourself to one choice per booth and share with your spouse/SO.
