I was looking into doing the F&WF Party for the Senses, maybe a Food and Wine Pairings, and the Odyssey Kitchen Conversations or The Cook, the Book, and the BottleThe Odyssey-The Chef's Showplace. Now when we go my little girl will be coming with us, can she go to these or are they 21 and over? also will I have to get her a ticket too? I was thinking maybe doing the
Odyssey Kitchen Conversations or The Cook, the Book, and the BottleThe Odyssey solo, then the others with the family? will that work or is the food wine festival only for adults?
Thank you so much.

I'm betteing that you kids CAN go, but is that the right decision? We've been to the F&WF 2x (third coming up this year, yippee!) and don't think that we'd take our son to any of the events. It has nothing to do with the drinking, but there are many, many adults that wouldn't appreciate a kid attending an 'adult' event.

Just my 2 cents

She can attend but obviously cannot drink. However, she probably won't enjoy these extra scheduled events, and then as Amy said you'll be there with mostly adults and an unhappy child. If you do the events, make sure you mix them with things she is going to enjoy there (Princess dining at Norway/Akershus should help).

There is also alot to enjoy at F&W festival just walking around World Showcase.

They're long, mostly talky events and are not designed with young children in mind.

I believe children may attend if a ticket is purchased for them, but there is no child's price or child's menu. I think the same price is paid even though the kids don't get wine.

That what I was thinking, I'll just do one solo and see what out there at the booths. I'll be happy having time to my self, and lil she'll have some one on one with dad.

If you little girl is 4..I would say hire a disney recommended sitter or put her in one of the kids clubs for the few hours you will attend this events.
You do have to purchase a full price ticket for the 4 year old and all that is offered to eat is what is there with wine and water. I don't think you could fully enjoy kitchen conversations, and definately not cook, book and bottle with a child in tow.

Party of the senses..well, some people bring older children ( we see maybe one child every couple of years). I definately wouldn't go with younger children like you have. It is cocktail party style, you basically have to walk, talk and eat..station to station, wait in the lines, etc.
