Food & Wine Festival Waitlist

Not sure if anyone has posted information regarding this yet. I just got off the phone with the nicest CM and he informed me that there is a waitlist for fully booked events.

If an event that you are interested in has no spaces available, simply send an email to wdwfoodandwinewaitlist@disneyonline.com

Provide them with the following information
Your Name
Your Email address
The Event you are interested in
The Date you want
Your Party Size
Your Contact Info (Home, Work, Cell)

I received the same information this morning about the waitlist. I had to send them an email for the Food & Wine Pairing on 10/20 in Canada! It was already booked solid by 7:45 am this morning! Hope the wailist comes through.

I was told LeCellier was booked for the entire event by the time I spoke with a CM around 7:30. I booked the last two spots for Coral Reef on 10/6. The CM said the food & wine pairings were filling up fast

I just got the following response to my email:

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your e-mail to the Walt Disney World Resort.

You will be added to the waitlist for the program(s) you requested. A
Cast Member will be calling you at the telephone number you have
provided if the program becomes available.

Please know that you may continue calling 407-WDW-FEST as cancellations
occur throughout the day and evening.

I'm interested to know how exactly the waitlist works if they're encouraging you to call for cancellations...?

But I didn't get a notice of rejection either.
