Food & Wine Festival Question...

Is there anything special being planned for the first day of the Food & Wine festival?

I know that everyday is special, but since we've never been to the F&W Festival, not sure if something extra special happens on certain days.

There's info about the upcoming events at the Food and Wine Festival on www.wdwinfo.com. Lists of the bands (Three Dog Night, Fifth Dimension, Chubby Checker...how cool), Beer and Wine Tastings etc.

Also, on www.wdwig.com (Deb's site) you can get a sample of last years IF&WF menus from the different countries that were represented.

We go every year (and we'll be there this year too!) and absolutely love it. Between the Festival and MNSSHP, it's a great time to visit. You'll have a blast. - Nancy

Last year, there were free wine seminars, and cooking demonstrations every day, including the first day.
