I searched for the answer to this but couldn't find it...
Will they take the room charge at the Food & Wine Festival booths?
Also, anything we should be on the look out for that kids would really enjoy? Our little ones area fairly adventurous and easy to please so I know we'll find a few things for them, and we all love the World Showcase, but I was just wondering if there was anything special (food or otherwise) that we should be on the look out for that the kids would enjoy trying.

Thanks for any feedback!

I am almost sure they take the room charge. Someone can verify tho...(drank so much wine I can't remember how I paid... :rotfl2:

Have yr kids make masks...basically each country has a stop - a kidcot - where they can sit and color blank masks. The kidcots are manned by friendly 20 somethings from each country. My kids really get into the masks, and really get upset if they can't finish their mask by visiting each country. THey get a small prize if they complete the mask.

The masks are free, by the way. Other people buy passports and have them stamped.

Most of the kidcots are tucked back behind each country, so its usually quiet where they are, and you can browse the stores and sip your wine. Its always a very relaxing evening for us - unless they don't finish the darn masks!

MNdisfan gave good advise.

Look at the Schedule too. Most of the show in the world showcase are alot of fun.

If your kids are adventurous have them try everything. Our DD, 10, couldn't wait to have Escargot after trying it last year. This year her favorites were the potato leek soup in Ireland, and the CONGA drink in mexico. To try them, I'd have 3-4 of you order different things and then each take one -2 bites or each. You can always go back for seconds if you really like something.

I think they do take the room charges at the booths.

we are just back and loved the F&WF!! They take all forms of payment, plus if your on the dining plan you can use your snack credits too for select items. We took full advantage of that :teeth: hope you have fun :wave2:
