Food & Wine Extravaganza! Oct 2010 PTR...including BONUS Dec 2010 PTR!

Wow, that is a lot of food! We've only been once during the Food and Wine festival and didn't even get anything. Of course that was a short weekend trip so we didn't really have a lot of time at each of the parks.

i am stopping by and catching up on everything:) I love all your ADRS-- awesome that you are going in Dec also-- and the food and wine food pics look delicious! one of these years i will have to go during that time!!! your little dog bandit is adorable!! We get my sheltie groomed and she looks like a puppy when she is done:) and she loves it-- just like she is getting a spa day:)

WOHO for menu lists! They're making me re-think my ADR I had just booked, though. Ugh, decisions, decisions!

Thanks! I'm away for work right now, so I'm missing my little Bandit :guilty:

Just come back next year :goodvibes

In other news, yesterday morning I saw on the Disney Food Blog that they extended Wishes Dessert Parties to December! My boyfriend and I were debating whether or not we wanted to do something one night apart from my parents. No restaurants looked good to us, so we wound up deciding not to. Then I saw this announcement! :yay: So on Tuesday night, we'll be doing the Dessert Party!

Yay for the dessert party!!! :thumbsup2

I booked it earlier today too! SO EXCITED! I didn't see the announcement, but just decided to randomly call today about another ADR and mentioned this. I was PUMPED - and still am! It's sooooo good. :yay:

YAY dessert party! Sounds so fun :) Not too expensive either.

Also, thank you so much for posting pictures!! I'm going to show them to the DBF...still working on getting him to come up with his wish list for F&W :sad2:

Glad they're helping!

In other news...we have Party for the Senses booked! My Mom was on hold with Disney for 45 minutes on Tuesday morning, but it's all taken care of now! ...I was at a meeting for work that started at 7, so I couldn't do it myself.

And for my December trip, I was waiting for JetBlue to transfer some points so I could get the free ticket. They still haven't and it made me nervous. Meanwhile Delta had a flight that went through Detroit that left a half hour earlier, but it gets me in 2.5 hours earlier! ...And it was only $100! So I just booked that.

Excellent deal on the plane ticket!!! $100 is a great deal. We have done really well with Delta as well.

And :yay: for booking Party of the Senses! I saw all that opened up the other day and I thought of you, glad you got it all set!

Great job on the plane tickets (even though you ignored me on the "yay" on the dessert party"). :rotfl:

Nice score on the plane ticket!

I was excited when I saw the price!

It's good to hear that you've done well with Delta. They make me a little nervous, but the price was too good to pass up...and the times!

:guilty: I'm sorry...forgive me? :flower3:

Sounds like everything is coming together nicely! :thumbsup2

I think so! I was rather unhappy with our ADRs for a while, but now I'm content.

Of course I do. I was only teasing you. How's Bandit?

I know :goodvibes Bandit's good. He had his first Puppy Training Class last night. He's a very suspicious dog. He doesn't particularly like new situations until he's checked everything out, so he was hiding behind us most of the night  But he was the first in class to get the commands we learned last night :snooty:

I'm looking forward to seeing what you say about the dessert party; I've been debating it! Maybe they'll still be doing it when we go again (in 4-5 years. :lmao:)

Great job on the airfare!!

Way to go, Bandit.:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Kelly... congrats on your airfare! $100 for a ticket and get to Florida early is a score! What airport do you fly out of?

I am thinking about the Wishes dessert party for December. Do you know if you can still see Tink fly from the party?

I love your write-up of all the food from the F&W Festival! Very nice! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I'm really hoping that the dessert party lives up to my high expectations.

So funny story...around 930 every night, he totally passes out. He has a habit of doing so right near the coffee table. By the time we're ready to take him out, about an hour later, he manages to get himself all the way under the table...then just rolls onto his stomach when we try to coax him out. He wants us to rub his belly

We fly out of Rochester. Buffalo is about an hour away and Syracuse about an hour and a half, so I always check all 3. Down to FL they're usually pretty comparable, but we're going out to Chicago for a wedding in a few weeks and for whatever reason, Buffalo is always cheaper. It's weird. I like Rochester's airport the best, mainly because of the parking situation, it's a dream!

I think you can see Tink. I'm 99% sure she flies right over you.
