Food & Wine Booth Menus Up!!

Because sometimes the search function does not work and I was unable to determine if someone else had already posted the menus. I figured in case no one had, I would. You know, to be helpful.

BECAUSE KIM & I LOVE WDW AND F&W! Reckon we love to eat and drink, but more than anything, doing it at WDW. Kim, if you're like me, you want to give back to the DISBOARD folks and relay info. that we ourselves would want.

Group hug!!!!! :grouphug:

Just be careful to watch your money, each "serving" (which is about 3 bites at most) costs about $4. It adds up quick!
Do you have to pay cash, or can you put it on your Disney room key like other purchases if you are a resort guest? This may sound silly, but do the booths ever run out of food at night?

We decided to skip dinner ressies and do the festival for our meal that evening. We'll only be at WDW for one night (only live a few hours north) but plan to have the most fun as is humanly possible in a short time! Splurging on the YC water view and plan to spend the day at the pool and the night at Epcot. Still trying to find out if there's any kickoff for YOAMD. Oh well, guess we'll find out soon enough.

KimWDW- Thank you so much for posting the site for the menus.

Yeah, the booths are set up but covered. Thursday is the cast preview, never been to that before, should be interesting. Saturday night I should be able to list my favorites for this year!

Lots of great looking yummies on the menu! This will be our first F&W festival and we are looking forward to 'grazing' our way around the world! Can't wait to taste that chocolate creme broule and blackberry cobbler!! :cool1:

We go every year for food and wine. We stay at BWV so we can walk back and forth (and not worry about how much wine we sample - hee hee) and we always plan at least two meals out of the booths. The first visit we start at one end and work around until we get full (usually about halfway), then the next visit we start at the opposite end and work the other way. Since we're so close, we often end up back a few more times and re-visit our favorites!

I didn't know that. Thanks! :sunny:

I've never been to the festival before. If you are on the dining plan, can you use snack credits or CS credits for a meal?

You can use snack credits, if the item is under $4

Not sure what (or why) you would use CS on here

Can't wait - and neither can Disney. They get hundreds of my dollars every year with F&W.

The chiliquiles are terrific, and I'm hoping this list is accurate because it means WDW has relented and brought back the lamb chop to Australia.

It was 86'd last year and replaced by sliced lamb. Good, but not even close to the chop. New Zealand used to have one but sold something called a lamb slider last year - pretty awful - looks like something different this time.

I complained (very good-naturedly) to CMs every time we bought something at the booth about the missing lamb chop and they always said, yes, lots of people wanted the chop back.

It appears Disney listened.

For someone who has been to F&W Festival before or knows...can you use your room key/credit card, or do you pay cash at the booths? Also, do they ever run out of food before the end of the night? This will be our 1st F&W Festival and we're just trying fiqure out what to expect. TIA

OK the booths were open today and here is what I tried (lunch and dinner):

Mexico
Chilaquiles-Very good/big $3.50
Quesadilla con Chorizo y Pollo-OK $3.50
Conga Juice-Very good/had twice $2.50

China
Caramel Ginger Ice Cream-Very good and big $2.75

Austraila
Shrimp on the Barbie-ok not great/dry $4.00
Pensfold Koonunga Hill Shiraz-Cabernet-tasty/have had before/big sample $2.50

Italy
Timballo alla Penne e Capri-tried my friends- good

Champagne
White Star-very good $8

USA
Maine Lobster Roll-very good $6.50

France
Chausson au Fromage de Chèvre-looks great
Crème Brûlée au Chocolat-very good/light not heavy/ big sample $3.00

Ireland
Potato Leek Soup with an Irish Cheddar Crisp-friend got/not good like past years-not creamy-clear/smaller cup

Canada
Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup-excellent as always/smaller cup $2.75

Wild & Wonderful Florida Shrimp
Sautéed Shrimp with Ginger and Lime-excellent $4 something/much better than Australlia's shrimp/fresher

I couldn't help but notice that the icewine in Canada is not Inniskillin? The vineyard listed is in BC Canada I believe. I'm sure it will be good!

I'm trying to remember - I know early on it was cash only but I remember last year using our room card, so I'm pretty sure you can. You can also use the Disney gift cards.

I don't recall a booth ever being out of anything when we've visited, but I suppose it's possible if you're there very close to park closing.
