Food + Wine Any Discounts??

Hi, A group of us ladies are thinking of a quick trip (4 week nites beginning of October) to the F+W Festial. Are there any discounts usually offered at this time ?? I do have an AP. Thanks, Joan

End of free dining sometimes ends a few days before Food and Wine fest starts so if you booked and started your trip just before you'd have that discount... that's what we did last year..

HI, Thanks for this info! The dates I am actually looking at are 10/6-10/08. And I do not think Free Dining dates extended into October last year. Would be a SWEET deal if they did! I was hoping for an AP discount or a public code?? Not sure WDW would extend any discounts at Food and Wine Festival time since this seems to be a busy time?? Joan

Disney has released discount rates on Magic Your Way packages for guests vacationing at Walt Disney World between September 30 - December 23, 2007. Ask for code ZQG for Magic Your Way or code ZQH for Magic Your Way Plus Dining. Rooms and Resort selection is very limited

Keep in mind, too, that most of the Food and Wine events aren't covered by DPP. I think in the past folks could munch at the booths on snack credits...but that's about it.
We opted to just go with a AAA discount, and then we'll book F&W events when they are listed-I think last year they were listed in early Aug. Depending on where you're planning to stay it's worth doing the math. % off room or Free Dining (if offered).For us-our AAA discount is $360.00. That savings, for us, is better than doing DDP-free dining at rack rate. (Because we'll have to cash pay events we select, anyway.)

We got a 40% off e-mail and it is good for rooms during F&W Festival, so I would expect to see other discounts for that time in due course.

Sure-I probably should have noted that what I booked was AAA room only. There are only so many rooms alloted, so I tend to change my resort depending on where the discount is available. AAA room only discounts can be booked through CRO, Disney travel agent or AAA.

Have plans for Nov. 1st thru Nov. 8th, I did get a postcard 40% discount but just made the decision to go yesterday. How do you get an e-mail code?

WOW!! Lucky You!! Sorry to say I fall in the catagory of "I visit WDW often" and therefore NEVER get a postcard for any % off!! But you did got me thinking that since I am planning a trip with friends maybe I should sign them up to get DVD's and POSSIBLY a code to follow?? Joan
