I have read a lott about grocery shopping and who to use:surfweb: and wegoshop seems to be the favorite . But I have not read anything about the resort grocery shopping . If 5 dollars is all they charge for this service it seems like a good deal. Or is their more to it ?

While the resort delivery charge may be low their prices are very high. And you're limited as to what they stock.

I'm using WeGoShop for the first time and I'll meet Amy tomorrow when I get my groceries.

I'm not paying over $3 for a bottle of Coke or $3 for a small package of cream cheese anymore!

I can tell you now that they are highly recommended on this board. There are many threads dedicated just to their services. Here's a link so you can get more information: http://www.wegoshop.com/

We used We Go Shop for the first time last week and they were great! I like that they will shop wherever you want them to and they charge you just the cost of what your groceries are plus a small delivery fee (based on how much your order is) and gratuity (we had our items left at bell services and they charged us 10% gratuity) We'll definitely use them again!

I met Amy yesterday from WeGoShop. What a delightful woman. When I arrived at the Boardwalk I didn't have my room but I called her anyway. She met me in the front and we settled up. She had everything packaged for refrigeration and clearly labled. As soon as I got my room all I had to do was call Bell Services. Great experience and I'll definately use them again!!:thumbsup2

Do you have to be at the resort for wegoshop to deliver? What if you have alcohol?

I have always used gardengrocer and didn't mind their prices. However, it seems that they really added onto the price for the alcohol we purchased on our last visit.

Thanks!

I believe you do have to be at the resort. The instructions I was given was to call when I reached the resort. If I had a room assigned Amy would have bought the items up to the room. If I didn't and that was the case, we met up outside.

She picked up wine coolers for me and the price was the regular price that I would have paid here in NY. There wasn't anything added on.

No you do not. We wanted to go to DTD aa soon as we got to the resort so we arranged to have everything left at bell services. We gave Amy at we go shop our debit card number and she charged us the cost of pur groceries, the delivery fee and a 10% gratuity. (She left us a receipt so we knew exactly what she paid for everything)

If you have anything that needs to be refrigerated, bell services will put it in tgeir fridge and you can call to have them deliver it when you are ready.
