food shopping

were is the best place to go food shopping? we always drive out to publix on rt192. we basicly buy milk,lunch meats etc... we tried walmart 2 years ago and dw said never again. any ideas?

I use this one also, or Albertson's off Orange Blossom Trail coming in from the airport. You can fax your order ahead of time with them and they will have it waiting at the service desk. Like your wife, I will never do Walmart again.

As a local, I prefer Publix. To me, Albertson's is over priced. That will all change as Publix is buying 49 Albertsons locations in Florida.

I shop Publix at home, but Winn Dixie is left of Cross Roads about a mile down the road and very convenient to OKW/Saratoga. There is a Walgreens on the left and a liquor store, ice cream shop, Papa John's Pizza and Chinese/Indian food in the same plaza. Winn Dixie has good rotisserie chickens!

ok, we will be at okw and if i come down buena vista drive, turn left onto hotel plaza blvd to cross roads light, turn left theres a winn dixie about 1 mile down that road? we always go right at the crossroads and publix is all the way down 535 to you hit rt192. we never went to the left. ill try it this time. thanks for your help!

My home resort is the BWV and I always use the WInn Dixie. I even have signed up for there member card. You go out toward the Crossroads, past Disney's Marketplace, past the Best Western. Take a left at the light and it is about a mile or so down the rode on your left. It is cheaper then the grocery store at the Crossroads.

Yup, Winn Dixie Plaza is on the right and Walgreen is on the left! Much Closer!

The Publix on Vineland is closer than the one on 192. Go right at the crossroads light and go under the I-4 overpass. turn left at the next light, cirlce on around the Marriott Village, Toward the premium outlet mall. Go past the mall, and you will see a new Publix. I also like the Winn Dixie everyone speaks of as well. It's never very crowded there and the prices are very reasonable.
