So we’re off to the USA and Disney on Friday (yay!!!) and just finalising some dining plans … it will be me, hubby, 12 year old daughter and 6 year old daughter. The only problem is my little one eats like a bird / grazes.

We quite like a table service meal for some respite from the heat / down time but would it be acceptable to not order a separate meal for her and have her share from our 3 meals? Or is that totally frowned upon?

We always find there’s far too much food and trying to save a little money! But don’t want to commit a social faux pas!

I think you could but just be aware that at buffets and prefix meals like Be our Guest, Space 220 (not the lounge) and California Grill you will have to pay the prefix kid's price regardless of how much your child eats.

That would be fine as we’re not buffet / family style fans - thinking more standard (non signature) places

When my son was younger we did that because he didn't eat much however I always tipped as though everyone got a meal.
