Food Rocks

Are there plans to replace "The Land" boat ride. I hope not. I really, really like this ride. Is "Soarin" that big that it might take up the whole pavillion?

The actual attraction building for Soarin' is being built adjacent to the Land pavilion on the Imagination side. The area that used to house Food Rocks will serve as the queue and Fastpass area for the new attraction. The other attractions in The Land will not be affected, except by the influx of people! It is my understanding they will also being expanding the restrooms and adding two new elevators to the pavilion.
I will miss Food Rocks too, but attractions that people don't go to are not going to stay open, no matter how much we miss them. Now they need to do something to the Living Seas! :)

While FR is cute, SOC is an excellent attraction. This is taking a C level attraction up to an A attraction.

Its true that children now would not know who food rock singers were, but they could have updated it . I thought it was really cute for small children. I didn't even know it was gone. When was the last day for it? We went in August and it was there.

well am I glad I saw Food Rocks on my first trip in August. I absolutely loved it! I'm 23 and I went with my fiance. I freaked when I heard Ton Loc! I'm really gonna miss it. I was singing the songs the whole trip.

The new ride sounds cool to me too.

Where do you guys hear all the new ride news?

I hit alot of Disney Message boards. And some times you will find some with CM that spill the beans every now and then.

Since I knew it was going, we made sure we hit this in November when we were there... took pictures of the whole waiting area, and the show...

My daughter has always loved the show... even when she didn't understand it... even now, at 7, she likes to say to me (when we're in the grocery store), "Mom, you've gotta read the wrapper".

Fortunately I have MP3's of most of the show, so she gets to listen to it.
