I looked through the food thread and didn't see one picture of any Cuban food.Is there any near DL. I see there are no places in the parks, what about outside? I love cuban sandwiches and Spanish rice and beans (not Mexican) with fried plaintains. stuff you would find at Bongos. anyone know of any place even if we have to take a cab (staying at Homewood by Convention Center). TIA :teeth:

Not around Anaheim. Check Yelp. I think your best options might be at least 10 miles away.

I did happen to find a Cuban's Petes right behind the Parks on W. Ball on Yelp. Thanks for the suggestion.

there's a porto's in downey, but that's like 30 mins from the parks, not sure if that's too far for you. their food is really good though!

I second portos!! So yummy always a line but so much good stuff.if you do make it to Portos you can get a bunch of their pasties and savory meat pies to eat for breakfast before you head to the parks! (If you have a hotel fridge)

A couple of years ago, Earl of Sandwich had a Cuban sandwich on the menu. You could probably get a ham sandwich with mustard, pickles etc there.

If a chain restaurant is OK, the Cheesecake Factory might have something. However, the OP was specific about a certain item (rice and plantains). Not sure what place would have it.
