Food Poisoning :(

I guess it was partially my own fault We were at a fundraiser Sat. night, and the food they were serving was left out with no refridgeration or warming trays). I was starving, so I ate what was left -lasagna w/meat sauce and some bacon wrapped scallops. I'm so stupid! When I think back, that food had been out for almost 4 hours I'm vertical for the first time since about 5 a.m. yesterday morning. Lesson learned- next time I go to a fundraiser I'll eat before I go!

Feel better soon!!! I've had food poisoning before due to bad egg salad and it is just horrible!!

I hope you feel better. What ever you do do not take anti diarreals (sp?) they prolong the illness. I was out for 6 weeks last winter and until the health dept contacted me to get info I had no idea these meds prolonged it. Once I stopped taking them I slowly improved. They did nothing when I was taking them either, it was AWEFUL.

I feel for you. I've had it 3 times. Usually it lasts only 24 hours, but one time I had it so bad I was sick for almost 6 weeks. That was a nightmare I never want to live through again.

Make sure you stay hydrated!
