My DH and I are planning to go to WDW in January. We will either be on the DxDDP or will have a TIW card (depending on how the plan changes for next year).

Here are the tables restaurants we want to go to...Most are new but I'll mark the ones that aren't.

Jan 15th - Arrival day
Dinner at Ohana - Will eat breakfast here in Oct. but will be first dinner

Jan 16th
Lunch: Sci Fi - been here DH wants to do again
Fantasmic at 6:30
Aloha 8:00 show

Jan 17th - MLK Day
Breakfast - Tusker House
Dinner - Boma

Jan 18th
Lunch - Wolfgang Puck Cafe
Dinner - Teppan Edo - been here, loved it!

Jan 19th
Breakfast - CRT
Lunch - Liberty Tree Tavern
Dinner - Whispering Canyon Cafe

Jan 20th - DH's birthday
Lunch - Marrakesh? (this is in the air still since DH has to decide what he wants to do this day, so may change if we are somewhere else)
Dinner - Yachtmans

Jan 21
Lunch - New Italian Place
Dinner - Nine Dragons (trying to get DH to let me change this one, we have a great Chinese place back home and it doesn't seem to have good reviews, any suggestions? Can be anywhere since we could move the Teppan Edo here and go anywhere for dinner on the 18th)

Jan 22nd
Breakfast - Boma

If we are on the DxDDP by my count I have used 18 credits for each of us at this point and we will have 21. The rest will be for if we are really hungry for breakfast or lunch on a day we missed it. If we get a early flight in or late flight out and need lunch, or just to have in case one of us hates our food somewhere and doesn't eat. (And we will have the snacks we could use for that too)

I agree with you on Nine Dragons, I have never eaten there, but I just can't see making an ADR at a Chinese restaurant (love Chinese though) when there is one almost on every corner.

How about an evening at Narcoossee's. I may be partial, but this is my favorite restaurant in WDW. This place has an incredible view of the Electic Pagent Parade and the fireworks from the MK at night. I have always had excellent service and great food. I can't wait until our ADR on our first day back home on Aug. 1st. :thumbsup2

Yeah I count 18 also.

I recommend Captain's Grille at the Yachtclub as a substitue meal. You can take the boat at the International Gateway over to it if you are in EPCOT at that time (since you were planning on eating in EPCOT).
They have a 3 course pre-fixe meal option with the dining plan.
It is one of the places at Disney where I found the food to taste very fresh and scratch made.
Here is the menu

With extra credits, you can always get take out at Wolfgang puck express or Earl of Sandwich at DTD and take for your flight home...both have excellent food and the Earl of Sandwich sandwiches are portable.
Don't forget that you can cash in extra credits for take home souveniers of rice krispy treats and a million other things. Goofy's at DTD is a great place to use them all up.

Have fun and happy eating!

Another suggestion
On your MK day, you have CRT which is all you can eat.
Then LTT which is all you can eat.
Then Whispering Canyon with has the skillet option (that most people try for variety) which is all you can eat.
You might want to skip something there and just do a counterservice or something light for one of the meals so you can enjoy your park time.

The other thing is if you have Fantasmic at 6:30, there is no way on earth you will make it to the Luau show at 8pm. I'm guessing you will just be making it to the front gate through the crowds to leave DHS by 8pm and they you have to wait for a bus to the Poly and take the bus.

You could also book a few more 2 credit meals or shows to use up credits:
Hoop De Doo at Ft. Wilderness is fun
There's also Cali Grill
Artist point instead of whispering canyon would use 2 credits also.
Flying Fish at the Boardwalk is also 2 credits and a quick boat ride out the back of epcot or a short walk.
