Food Options when DVCs open

Here is a list of CMs that have been recalled to work. I think this gives us an idea of what will be open to start. Now, we could still see limited option on the menu But.....

I’m curious about the menus. I’ve seen reports that many of the open Disney Springs restaurants are operating on limited menus.

According to DVC website, it mentioned to be prepared for limited menu options.

Will we be able to go to different Resorts to eat? Or will those restaurants be for only those staying at that resort?

Wont know until they open, but I am sure that they will not be taking reservations and limited to 50% capacity.

Since we don’t know how bus will work to DS, which would be the only way without a car or Uber, I’d say they may try tin limit.

I also think it depends on how many guests are actually staying at the resorts.

Typically there are a few reasons for this:
With limited diners you limit options to help reduce food waste.
You select items with limited prep time to reduce the amount of time staff are in the confines of the kitchen
And you select items which are quick to expedite / serve allowing you to turn the table faster.

Anyone know how the limited menus will affect those with **True** Allergies? Will they also be limited to the limited items currently available?

Weird. It was there this morning as a new notification at about 8: 30 when I checked, and now it is gone.

Will food delivery services, ie Instacart, etc, be available during the early days of reopening. So guests staying in equipped villas can forego the restaurants and cook their own meals?

Yes. Just like the good old days when you walked up..put in your name and waited.

Bur, now at least they can text so you don’t have to just sit right there.
