I have a quasi-dining-related question. (Mods, if I'm not in the right place, please feel free to move the post. :) )

DH and I are going down to the World next weekend. We're planning on picking up breakfast at the coffee bar in the Poly and taking the Monorail over to MK to start the day. Can we take our coffee and pastries with us on the Monorail, or do we need to finish them before boarding?

We've always just eaten breakfast in our room or in the parks on previous trips, but since this is a special trip (DH's Birthday :yay: ) we wanted to do things a little differently.

Thanks!

I've taken coffee and pastries from the coffee bar on there before. Also have had popcorn and water. No one has ever said anything and I've never seen any signs.

As long as you don't need knife and tray your probably OK. :lmao:

We've brought on donuts, sodas, coffee, popcorn before.

You might just want to make sure your food and drink are covered. Most of the time, the monorail is a smooth ride but it can stop and start in a jerk. Also, there will be people around you so spilling hot coffee or dropping a pastry into another guests' lap will not be that appreciated.

When we recently rode with the driver in the front seat, I thought he might bust us for the drinks we were carrying but didn't say a word. I was sure not to actually drink in front of him though.:thumbsup2

Thanks for all the input! Sounds like we'll be ok. :)
