Can you take lunchables and sandwiches?

We don't like the food they serve on the plane and we are going to be on the plane during breakfast and lunch time. I am willing to buy their drinks, but I would like to bring our own meal and snack food.

We use Southwest and we are always allowed to bring snacks on as they dont serve food on the plane.

Food seems to be OK still, but watch the lunchable as they don't allow drink other than that which you buy beyond the security checkpoint onto the planes. The scanner will pick up on the bottle of water & you'll be asked to leave it behind.

Also, don't include anything with nuts in case there is someone with an allergy.
