Food Network's "$40 a Day" Has a Food Show on Key West

The Food Network will be airing a show called "$40 a Day" with host Rachael Ray given a $40 a day budget in Key West, Florida on Sunday, September 15th 1:30PM. She visits a place for Key Lime pie for breakfast called Key Largo Crack'd Conch. For lunch at Blue Heaven for Tortilla with Jerk Chicken. Dinner is at Bahama Mama's. And finally, a nice "dessert" drink watching the sunset off of a large deck at Mallory Square at a place called Billy Fish Bar and Grill. The recipes including the drink are on www.foodtv.com under "$40 a Day" Episode: The Keys. This show aired last night, so it was interesting to see where the locals hang out, but will rerun again on 9/15 @ 1:30PM ET.

Hopkins, I saw that show last night. It was COOL MAN, what an AWESOME show MAN. I want to go to Blue Heaven and swing on the rope then to Bahama Mama's for some Fried Conch Friters. COOL MAN!!!!

I watched that show last night also. That girl is annoying!! But the sights were nice and the tips about Key West were good.

Key West is a great place to eat. I spend at least a week in the Keys every February/March.

I have to agree that Blue Heaven is fantastic - especially breakfast! There really are chickens running around!

By brother-in-law proposed to my sister at Billy Fish (it was just called the Sunset Pier at the time).

BTW, I love Rachel Ray!
