I really enjoy this show. And I am a huge fan of cake decorating. But they have run out of enough ideas to to keep this up! Really? Models as the assistants?

They really need to come up with some other ideas. Some real cooking challenges! Even I am burned out on the cake decorating ones.

I really enjoyed the food stylist episode. That was fun to watch.

They need to do a Star Wars challenge

I wish they would do more sugar challenges or chocolate challenges. Those episodes are older and the show pieces were dramatic. I also remember one made from bread that was cool too.

I like the cake ones. Maybe I just haven't seen very many of them. I've just gotten into the Food Network since a lot of HGTV is reruns for me. I have no tv listings to see when they are on either so it's hit or miss. When are the challenges on?

Food Network Challenge is on at 7 Eastern most nights - Sunday to Friday, usually, but FN has been known to change programming without telling me Yesterday (Sunday) I think there were two back-to-back episodes at 7 and 8, with the latter being the model one.

Funny you should ask. I was thinking of this exact subject, while watching Joshua finish up his pastillage face (before it broke ).

I would like to see a Food Network Challenge where the competitors made cakes - or something, now that you've brought up the idea of cake alternatives - representing some of the Food Network stars.
