my husband is a very picky eater and will have nothing to do with the fancy food on the cruise..will they let him order from the childrens's menu for a burger or something?

You can order from the Children's menu. There are also several items that are very simple and offered every night such as a plain strip steak, grilled chicken breast and some kind of fish. My son orders the steak, just plain steak, no sauces, etc.

Yes - I have ordered from the childrens menu before when I was not very hungry. There is also pizza, chicken fingers, burgers, etc by the pool areas. - Mike

I got a little ribbing from my family but nothing from the wait staff. The way they looked at me when I asked was as if this happened all of the time. - Mike

Due to health problems, I was unable to eat most of the food on the menu some evenings. However, our Server (Tommy) was more than happy to go out of his way to track down other options from other dining rooms, when asked. This is a regular occurence - so dont be afraid to ask, if you cant eat/dont fancy anything on the menu. Naturally, if it isnt available elsewhere - dont hassle the Server. They will do their best - especially if you are polite! (Yes, we did tip him extra - before you ask!) Not sure most dining outlets would be so helpful! Nat

He can order whatever he wants..steak every night if he wants..from the adult menu.

The food on the cruise/in the dining rooms is not fancy!
