Hi , what is current policy regarding bringing snack food and drink in to the parks , potato chips and juice ?

You can bring in pretty much whatever you want but a full size pizza or a big bucket of chicken might be a tad uncomfortable to carry around :)

For the chips - you might want to put them in a strong sided container so they don't get crushed in your bag.

Also, if you bring in a full lunch for four, the security guards might laugh and ask if they can join you for the meal.

And as stated, no alcohol can be brought in (or taken out in a non-sealed container) and no glass except for baby food jars.

Outside food is allowed. I only bring Pringles containers because we have had all other chips destroyed in our bag.

I usually bring in sandwiches and juice boxes to eat lunch or dinner in the park. The only rule is no alcohol and no glass containers. At DAK you are also not supposed to bring in straws.

Returned last week. SHOCKED to see the number of people dragging GIANT rolling coolers behind them in the parks. Some people were dragging the coolers while their kids sat on top. :rolleyes1

Kinda redneck :), but if it works for them...

... and OP, Watch out for the sneaky squirrels. They like to steal food. Seen it firsthand. :)

We learned this, especially my grandson, the hard way. We had the stroller parked outside at Epcot and when we went back to get it there was a squirrel in the stroller bottom next to us as well as one in ours. There was no food in ours but my grandson was standing next to the stroller eating goldfish crackers. He dropped one, went to pick it up and the squirrel jumped out of the basket and went for the cracker- biting my grandson in the process.

It was a long walk from Soarin' over to the first aid office.

There are definitely squirrels and they bite!

Oh my! Your poor grandson! They seem okay from afar, as long as their "dash away" mechinism kicks in, but if I was to get that close to one, I would probably climb up on something and scream like people in the movies do with mice. LOL

Bummer! Hope it wasn't too bad... :(

I have seen squirrels in a few places, the most blatant also in Epcot but over by where strollers get parked for Test Track. I was waiting for others in my party to get back to that area, and it was kind of fun watching the squirrels searching the bottom of all the strollers. Made my wait entertaining. :)

It was a decent bite, but nothing terribly serious. It scared him more than anything. They were very nice at first aid, got him all bandaged up and had him re-create his battle over the goldfish crackers- then told us to tell the CM's at Soarin' to allow us a FP+ ride- said just show them the bandage and story and you won't have a problem. lol Something tells me we weren't the first case of squirrel attack.;)
