Food Going Downhill?

I get this everytime I go and it is pretty large and I do eat the bread..I just love sd bread but carbs are not supposed to be on my eating plan..who cares.

Jack

I agree--I am pretty strict about my diet, but when I get to Disneyland I figure I am allowed to go into "who cares?" territory!

I stick to my diet plan unless it is my birthday, Christmas, or we are at Disneyland!

I really love the shrimp louie too! Also the clam chowder bread bowl there is very good.

Disneyland is just not known for great food, unfortunately. Most of the time when we are there I am like "meh..it's okay, I guess"....but there are times when nothing tastes better. Like eating a chocolate dipped waffle cone from Gibson Girl ice cream place (that you had to stand in line for 30 minutes for!). Eating that yummy luciousness while watching fireworks with your girls=priceless! Try it, you won't be disappointed--especially on a sweet July night that you only have to wear a short sleeved shirt to feel warm. Then look over at your kids who are growing up way to fast and drink in their smiles while you eat the ice cream--it rates a 10 on a lifescale experience meter!

I shouldn't be eating the bread either but sourdough is my weakness!

We'll be staying at HoJo's. Is Red Robin close enough to walk to from the hotel? We will not have a car.

[FONT=Trebuchet MS, sans-serif]Hold up wait a minute...criss cross will make you jump jump, you can get the soup on the side?!??!? why hasn't anyone told me this!! I love the soggy bread don't get me wrong, but i want to try it that way too..:dance3:

Yes, you can, and I never thought to ask on my own either. I got this tip from the DisBoards. I think it was bumbershoot.

It's about 2 miles down on Harbor, so if you are totally into walking then yes, but I could never get my family to do it! LOL

Has everyone had a chance to check out allearts.net, under disneyland and then under menus, they have the places to eat at DLR with complete and up to date menus, I was just on there today and some places have been updated on allears.net..

ooooo red robins are nosey!! LOL the resturaunt not the bird!

LOVE Fudruckers cook they way you want, Red Robin here has always been on the dry side.

Do you mean how well done the meat is?

In canada we make sure hamburger meat is well done...I can't think of any place that doesn't. So easy to get sick with hamburger meat.

I really would not mind walking, but after walking around the parks or even before and then going to the parks, uh.....I think not!

Most places down here in the states cook burgers to be "well" unless you specifically ask for it not to be. If you're especially concerned, go ahead and reiterate "well done" when ordering. I, on the other hand, can't stand a dry burger and will only eat it if it's medium (some pink). Guess I live dangerously :cool1: There are, however, some restaurants that refuse to serve them that way because of liability, so I don't eat burgers unless it's at an upscale place or a burger bar.
