Food for thought!

Ok i had a crazy idea. I think it will invoke thought and allow you to relive some of your favorite flavors throughout the WDW resorts. It may also help people planning trips decide on places to eat or even what they may like to order.

So here goes, i would like to know what your fantasy Table Service meals would consist of. Here's how it works; take your favorite soup, add your favorite appitizer, then your favorite entree, top it off with your favorite dessert, and dont forget your favorite drink. They dont have to be from the same restaurant or even the same hotel or park. They can be if if you like afterall it is your fantasy meal! Please include the name of the restaurant. I'll start off, feel free to use mine as an example.


Egusi soup - Boma (AKL) / Mamma's Bruschetta - Mamma Melrose (MGM) / Barbeque Beff Fillet - California Grill (Contemp) / Maple Creme Brule - Les Celliar (EPCOT) / Backscratcher - Ohana (Poly)

OK, now its your turn, remember Soup/ Appitiezer/ Entree/ Dessert/ Drink!

Beef barley soup - Le Cellier (EPCOT)/ tomato and mozzarella - Yachtsman (YC)/ *tie beef filet - Cali Grill (CR) or ribeye - Yachtsman / white choc macadamia cheesecake - Yachtsman / black and white milkshake - Prime Time Cafe (WL)

Hmm do we see a theme there - no wonder we're eating at Yachtman twice.

Soup:Cheddar Cheese Soup - Le Cellier - Epcot (I do not know many who would NOT put this!)

Appetizer: Chimi Cha-Cha (Light crisp wonton skin embraces roasted chicken breast, sweet corn, black beans, citrus zest, roasted red peppers, and four-cheese blend) - Rainforest Cafe - Animal Kingdom

Entree: Australian Lobster Tails(grilled served with red skin potatoes and drawn butter) - Fulton's Crabhouse - Downtown Disney

Dessert:Cinderella's Royal Slipper Dessert - Cinderella's Royal Table - Magic Kingdom

Drink: KUNGALOOOOOOOSH! - Adventurer's Club - Downtown Disney

Okay, now I must admit I would not mind adding cheese fries from Pop Century to this meal!

hmm guess you have to have actually eaten these which knocks the lobster out since i only had it once at wdw and it was not the best

entree Chefs don't remember the name but it was trout in puff pastry with scallop and crab quenelles ( of course no longer on the menu but still memorable) or Bd strip steak and shrimp add on ( not really a toss up but it's still being servied at least)

dessert LeCellier choc bread pudding with tarragon ice cream( defunct)

drink ghirardelli:choc. malt

not my fault they changed the menus just after we left

Appetizer: Escargot - Triton's, Disney Wonder
Main course: Lamb Shank - Jiko
Dessert: Chocolate beggar purses - Jiko
Drink: Lapu Lapu - Tambu Lounge
