food for purchase -Delta

On all of our flights it says food for purchase. Can anyone tell me anything about this food, is it really typical bad airline food?

Our flight has one stop but the location is not listed, I'm assuming that means we will not be getting off the plane...it's 8 hours so we will definately need food. Shoot my kids with need food for a half hour flight.

I thought Delta had discontinued their food for purchase program all together. You might want to ask about that in case you will need to get off the plane during your layover and find something to eat.

I think they still sell food on Song, but on Delta flights it went away. They improved the snack options, but it's not a meal.

You can normally get off on a stop on Delta. It probably is over an hour. (Deltas' not like SW, they turn planes SLOWLY!)

Delta no longer offers food for purchase on any flights except flights flown under the Song brand name. The food on song is good. No yucky airline food. Not that all airline food is bad though. Delta use to have great first class food but sadly no any more

Snacks on my dh's flight last week were the same as they ever were -- little bag of snack mix and a beverage.

I flew Delta to WDW 15 days ago. They didn't offer buying food. This was a 4 hour non stop flight. They had a nice snack package. Had oreo's, crackers and cheese spread and raisens. Got a can of pop twice too.
