Ok so we are back.... so sad. We had a great time and ate at so many great places! I have to thank all those on this board that recommended many places and dishes to try, they were all wonderful. We had no problems with the tips. We always wrote in cash on the receipt and were never questioned. We had wonderful service. I was expecting the restaurants to be overwhelmed but really they weren't. My only complaint about the DDP was the children's menu. It seemed very limited. It was always the "kids picks" on the menu. It was almost always ice cream for dessert and some places didn't offer fries with the meal. It just seemed like they were trying to shove healthy food at us at all times. The buns are all whole wheat now, which my kids hate. Other than that , I love the DDP and it was well worth it.
Ok, so on to some reviews.
We have myself, DH , DD(5), DS(7) and DS(13). We ate at: Chef Mickey, 50s PT, Coral Reef, Kona Cafe, CRT, Crystal Palace, WCC, WPE, Electric Umbrella, and the POR food court.
1st up-
Chef Mickey
We always do Chef Mickey. It is just a staple for staying at Disney. We have tried both Breakfast and dinner and prefer breakfast. The food selection is wonderful and the character interaction is the best.

A sampling of eggs...egg pizza, egg omelette and egg fritata with vegetables. All very good.
IMG_4733-1.jpg

some more eggs with bacon, sausage and home fried potatoes
IMG_4734-1.jpg

Kids love Mickey waffles!
All in all a great meal!

So now we went to dinner at 50s PT. We have never been here before but I had heard wonderful things about it. We showed up a tad early for our ADR and were seated about 15 minutes before our ADR time. Awesome! While waiting to be seated my DH and I sat at the bar. I wanted to try a drink. I actually forget the name of it , sorry , but it was really good!
IMG_4858-1.jpg

The resaurant is really neat. Our waiter was great. He was into his character and picked on the kids(fun stuff).
IMG_4869-1.jpg

My DH and DS(13) had the fried chicken. Both cleaned their plates and said it was very juicy and great!
IMG_4872-1.jpg

I had the pot roast. I heard so much about this dish I had to try it. Oh MY! It was delicious. I about licked the plate clean!
IMG_4870-1.jpg

DS and DD had the chicken nuggets. They were chicken nuggets...not much to say.
IMG_4875-1.jpg

My DS and myself had the brownie sundae. My DS(13 ) gave it to my DS(7) since he was full from the fried chicken. It was a really good brownie sundae. My DS didn't like the cracker jacks on top, it is a little odd to put cracker jacks on a sundae.
IMG_4876-1.jpg

My DH had an ice cream sundae. He said it was really good. He finished it so I guess he liked it.:)
We really enjoyed this meal and would eat here again.

So the next day we decided to spend in Epcot. So we had breakfast at the resort(sorry no pics). POR has a great food court. Lots of choices and always good food.
For dinner we had ADRs for Coral Reef. Never been here before but my friend said I must try it. So we did. We had a really nice waiter and the atmosphere is so nice with the fish tanks. I know the steak and Mahi mahi was highly recommended so our family tried both.:goodvibes
IMG_4925-1.jpg

This was my Mahi mahi. It was so delicious. The sauce on the fish was outstanding!!!
IMG_4927-1.jpg

My DH and DS(13) both had the steak. They raved! They cleaned their plates.
My DS and DD both had the kids pizza. No pic of those.
For dessert me, DH and DS(13) had the Chocolate wave. MMMMM
IMG_4928-1.jpg

The two little ones had the make your own sundae.
IMG_4929-1.jpg

Oh and to drink I had Octopus Juice. This drink was to die for!
IMG_4922-1.jpg

This was the best food of our trip. My DH and DS said they liked this steak more than anything else on the trip! I had to agree about the Mahi Mahi.
We will definitely be eating here again!:thumbsup2

thanks for sharing the photos of your food. i still can't get myself to take photos.

Thanks for all your nice replies.:goodvibes

Next up, we took a day to go to DTD. We decided to eat at WPE. It came very highly recommended by people on this board. Now I know why. Holy Cow! Great food. Nice counter service place.
IMG_4958-1.jpg

This was my pesto chicken sandwich. Not only was it HUGE but it was delicious.:)

IMG_4959-1.jpg

DH had the meatball pizza. He cleaned his plate!
IMG_4960-1.jpg

DS(13) had the BBQ chicken pizza. He said it was terrific.
IMG_4961-1.jpg

DD's pizza

IMG_4962-1.jpg

DS's chicken.
All the meals came with some huge delicious chocolate chip cookies. We saved those for later.
Of course if you go to DTD , you have to, you must, you cannot miss, Goofy's Candy Shop. Here is just a sample of what my DD got.
IMG_5251.jpg

OK, now do you understand why you can't miss this shop? :rotfl:

That night we went to the MNSSHP. Awesome!!!! It was deserted and the kids rode all the rides countless times. They had a great time.
Since we were out late I had an ADR for an early lunch at CP the next day.
I didn't really take a lot of pics of the food here. It was ok. It wasn't anything wonderful as far as the food. The characters were great though. I did take one picture of some of the desserts.

IMG_5090-1.jpg

Yummy!!!
Oh I forgot to mention that this was our 15th wedding anniversary this day too. So I had made an ADR at Kona Cafe for dinner. We had never eaten here before but I again heard wonderful things about it. And after the rotten coffee at the rest of WDW I was dying for a Kona press pot!:lmao:
IMG_5138-1.jpg

My DH and DS(13) both had the NY strip. They said it was really good but the steak at the Coral Reef was better.
IMG_5139-1.jpg

This was my Tuna Oscar. It was really great! I was afraid that the sauce made with wasabi would be too spicy so I had them put it on the side. It was not spicy at all. It was delicious.
Of course my DD and DS(7) had the very boring kids picks so I didn't take any pics.
However , here is the nice dessert the waiter brought us for our anniversary.
IMG_5140-1.jpg

The picture has a bit of glare so you can't really see just how cute it is.
IMG_5141-1.jpg

This is my DS(13) enjoying his Kona Cone.
It was a really great place. The food was awesome. We will definitely be going again. Oh, and the coffee was awesome too!! It was a really nice anniversary.:lovestruc

So the next day we decided to hit Typhoon Lagoon. We had never been here and the kids have never been to a water park ever. It is a really nice place. They had a blast. When we got back to the POR we were all starving so we ate at the food court there. They have a nice selection of quality food.

IMG_5145-1.jpg

My DS(13) had the personal pepperoni pizza.
IMG_5147.jpg

My DH had the bacon cheeseburger.
IMG_5146.jpg

I had pasta from the pasta station. It was penne with shrimp, spinach and mushrooms in alfredo sauce.
The kids had the usual chicken nugget fair. :goodvibes
All the food is good at this counter service. I particularly liked the make- your-own pasta. You could pick a sauce(alfredo, marinara or pesto), either chicken or shrimp and then from a list of about 10 different things to add , like spinach, mushrooms, olives, tomatoes, etc. They made it fresh in front of you. It took a little time but was well worth the wait.

On to the next day.....
We had ADR's at CRT for lunch so we got to MK early and stopped at the Main St. Bakery for some yummy breakfast treats.....
IMG_5165-1.jpg

This stuff was huge. My DH and DS(7) split the cinnamon roll and me and DS(13) split the french toast loaf. My DD decided on just having a banana for lunch....who walks into a sweet smelling bakery and decides on a banana? Only a 5 year old.:rotfl: We devoured these pastries. One thing for those on the DDP, the french toast loaf is not a snack on the plan , it is considered an entree for a CS so we just chose to pay OP. No big deal and well worth the 4 bucks but I thought I would just mention it.
Off to CRT for lunch.
We have done this lunch before. We always enjoy it. My DD loves it of course and my DS(7) at least gets to have a sword while my DS(13) turns beet red every time a princess asks if he wants to be in the picture.:rotfl2:
The castle atmosphere is great and to meet all the princesses is wonderful. Our waiter was terrific , playing the role well , refering to as lords and princesses.
IMG_5183-1.jpg

This is the appetizer tray with cheese , Italian ham , pesto chicken and grapes. The chicken and cheese was good . I 'm not a fan of Italian ham so I didn't have any.
IMG_5184-1.jpg

Me, DH and DS(13) all got the same sandwich. Our waiter made fun of us for this. The bread was really good. It had turkey and ham and a dijon spread on it. It was yummy.
The kids once again had to get from the kids picks. But at CRT there are no french fries! I was a little disappointed by this. So were the kids.
And then dessert...we all had....
IMG_5197-1.jpg

and the kids had
IMG_5196-1.jpg

Need I say more? :lmao: It was :thumbsup2
We love CRT and will probably do it again until my DD says she doesn't want to. It is such a magical part of going to WDW. Kids believe in it for a such a short time, I can't say no when my DD says ,"Can we go visit Cinderella again?":cloud9:

Oh , I forgot, that on that day, we park hopped over to Epcot. We had previously been there, but didn't get to finish all the countries. We stopped at the pastry shop in France to get a little something...

IMG_5252-1.jpg

These are eclairs and a french pastry I can't even try to spell :lmao:
It has a cream made with rum in the middle. YUMM!!!(oh and it was twice as long when we got it.... I forgot to take the picture before I ate it...sorry :rotfl: )

We also ate at the Electric Umbrella. sorry no pics. We all enjoyed it. It was burgers and such. Nothing wonderful but it was certainly filling and good .

Last full day...my 40th birthday.
We had ADR's for dinner at WCC
We spent the day in Animal Kingdom. And had such a hard time finding food there. We basically ate snacks only , so when we got to WCC we were starving. Of course, all week we never waited more than 5 or 10 minutes for our table , but this night WCC was packed and 1/2 hour behind schedule..ugh.
So we finally get in and we are ready to eat the menus :rotfl:
We have never been here before either , but I know it is supposed to be fun.
Our waiter was into the trickster mode and we could see stuff happening at the other tables as well. He threw our straws at us and took our order. My kids looked at me , like why did he throw straws at us? :lmao:
My DD took part in the horse race around the restaurant.
Then the food...
IMG_5351-1.jpg

We all had the skillet- including my DS(7)...
It had ribs-delicious- pulled pork- DH said it was good-peel and eat shrimp-I ate every last one ;) , and rosemary chicken-absolutely juicy and wonderful.
We had refills of everything. I think he refilled the ribs 3 times. Even my daughter had some of the corn- although she opted for the mac and cheese off the kids menu.
My DS (7) was so happy when the waiter nicely brought him out a side of fries. Of course , with fries you need katsup...... so I told him to ask the waiter.....
IMG_5352.jpg

He loved it!
Of course, it being my birthday the waiter had to embarass me and have everyone sing. ;)
Then we had dessert.
IMG_5353-1.jpg

My DS(13) had the fried tortilla with icecream and bananas. He loved it , ate it all and wouldn't share.;)
IMG_5354-1.jpg

My DH had the apple carmel pie. He said it was excellent.
IMG_5355.jpg

I had the smores cheesecake. Marshmallow, chocolate and cheesecake? Uh, whoever thought of this deserves a raise.
IMG_5356.jpg

Both the younger ones had the woms in dirt. They loved it. It was their favorite dessert.
This restaurant was voted a family favorite for its fun atmosphere and great food.
Well, that was our trip. Full of food and fun. So much fun that we decided to bounce back to WDW next August. See ya then!:cool1:
