We are looking for something interesting food-wise. Something that has good food, maybe even great, food that is affordable for four adults. We have a couple of non-park days so can hit up Springs or another resort - but we also have some park days.

We did the 50s diner and BOG last year and tbh, we loved the diner and found BOG was kind of meh. We did Satu'li - and loved it. Will go back, for sure.

The experience - well - that is why we are going to Disney so finding something super engaging for our kids, 18 and 25, is also important to us. This is likely why we loved the Diner.

I have read at least thirty blogs and still don't know!

For food and experience, I would consider Whispering Canyon at WL and Biergarten in EP. Teppan Edo may also be fun. The Sci-Fi experience is amazing, but we find the food to be mediocre.

Interesting, I had shortlisted WC and BierG. Thank you. Will check out Teppan Edo and Skipper Canteen.

Sci Fi - I read conflicting stuff - some reviews hated the experience because you screen watch and don't look at each other - but as long as you go with burgers, you're okay. Others say the food is crappy but the experience made it worth it.

We have reservations for all of these places when we arrive in 3 weeks!!

I recommend Sanaa at AKL Kidani Village.

By the “Diner” do you mean 50’s Prime Time Cafe?
In my experience “Great” food is expensive at Disney.
We enjoyed Paddlefish at DS, but it was expensive. I am looking forward to trying the Boathouse. We were very disappointed with Raglan Road after many years of loving it and will not return.

You need to look at signature Dining for great food

Have you looked st the menus for the swolphin restaurants?
Il mulino is a favorite. Great food, nice restaurant and I believe they will validate parking

Blu zoo also gets great reviews. We haven’t gone there, menu doesn’t interest my dh

For a fun time kimonos sushi, imho, is Best on property. Comes w fun karaoke too. If you are not interested in karaoke go before 8 or 9

Yes, the Café :)

I would second Raglan Road. My daughter has always loved the entertainment and I live the It’s not Bloody Chowder. My daughter always like Yak & Yeti at AK.

When was it? What happened?
It was 2-3 years ago. We had been to RR since their soft opening. We loved it and it was a “ must do” every year.
We all did not like our entrees. The potatoes in adult DS Not Your Bleeding Chowder were hard-and not cooked. My Serious Sirloin was tough, fatty and not cooked well. I don’t remember DH dinner but he didn’t like it. Our table was not comfortable. Our service was not good. It was the very worst band we had seen in many trips. No more.

I like Sanaa, Tiffins, Cali Grill for good food, good wines, and a good atmosphere. Those are the three we just keep repeating trip after trip. But, everyone has their faves, and it really depends what kind of menu appeals to you.

I agree with many suggestions above but would add Boma and Spice Road Table to the list of restaurants you should consider.

Another Raglan Road fan - food was very good, they have entertainment ( check timing ) and the service has always been very good. We thought the price was fair for the size and quality of the meals. If you leave off alcohol, it was very close to restaurant pricing at home.

Sci-Fi, for us, is all about the experience. It is, IMHO, the best themed restaurant in all of WDW. If you can go in expecting the food won't be stellar, you'll probably be ok.

If your kids like sports, ESPN Zone on the Boardwalk is fun, but the food is sort of on par with an Applebee's. My DS10 loves it there.

Sci- Fi for burgers and milk shakes... Its a fun experience, the cheesy movie are so cute, and that what the drive inn was all about ... You sat in a car to watch the movies. Maybe for lunch would be my suggestion.

So many new places at Disney Springs, We love the Boathouse, Morimotos, Homecoming gets lots of thumbs up, Raglan Road for us we go earlier, as the bands have gotten so loud you honestly can't even concentrate on eating and forget about talking... while not fancy we like Rain Forest, T-Rex, Planet Hollywood, the food is in the middle of the road, but we have always had good service.

Flying Fish on the board walk is a nice spot.

Spice Road Table at Epcot. Their food is excellent, very flavorful, service was top notch, and if you plan it right, you can sit on the patio and watch Illuminations. My mom and I split an app, each got a main course, split dessert, and each had an adult beverage and it ran around $50/person, maybe $60. It was the best meal I had that trip (rack of lamb as the main entree).

We love Biergarten and recommend it. My 19 and 22 year old like Garden Grill and go on their own, they have done this since their early teens--I'd recommend giving your kids the option to make their own plans one night--it's fun for the kids and fun for you, too! We also like California Grill, the brunch is amazing. I would also vote for Sanaa, I like to go during daylight when you can see the animals wandering by. We are fans of Skipper Canteen, a great option in MK. We did not love Tiffins, I thought it was kind of boring, we much prefer Nomad Lounge.

After years of avoiding Teppan Edo because of reviews that had described it as typical hibachi, DH and I went for lunch on the DDP and loved it! The food was really good and we had a lot of choices. We will definitely go back.

Another fun experience is Trader Sam's. Your 18 year old won't be allowed after 8 p.m., but it's fun to go for appetizers and drinks before then.
