So much discussion on the difference between food courts, I was wondering which has a better food court, GF or the Poly?:confused3 I have been to both POFQ and POR and loved both. My granddaughter loves POFQ food court. POR is better in my opinion. My granddaughter, 14 was so disapointed in the Poly food court that I was wondering if the GF is any better? When we stay there:yay: is it worth taking the monorail to GF for a food court try?
Thank you and have a magical day:wizard:

None of the deluxes have food courts. Most of them have a counter service place with a limited selection; Gasparilla Grill is very similar to Captain Cook in terms of the selection.

The reason the moderates and values have actual food courts is that their table service dining options are limited or non-existent, and they need a way to quickly feed the masses of people that stay there (mod and values have far more rooms, on average, than the deluxes do).

Deluxes have multiple dining options - GF has 5 table service restaurants (6, if you count Garden View Lounge). Poly has 2. Both also offer room service. So a huge food court wasn't considered necessary at either resort.

If you click on my March link I have a ton of pics of food and menu boards from the Poly's Capt Cooks.

DH and I love the food courts at the values and mods..that is the one thing we miss by staying at the deluxe resorts
