Are there menus from the value resorts posted anywhere on the internet? We are planning our first trip to WDW...The only hesitation I have about staying onsite is the fear being trapped for food while trying to feed a family of four....Would really like to get an idea if anybody has any...The base rates really don't bother me....

Thanks,

Check out allearsnet.com. I was very pleased with the selection and quality at the AllStars Music on my January trip. They offered a variety of meals--not just hamburgers and chicken fingers. I liked the pasta, aand they even had a meat and 2 veggies offer (never tried that though)

We liked the food court at ASMovies last fall when we were there. They had a little bit of everything, and everything we had was pretty good. DH got London Broil with mashed potatoes and green beans twice and he said it was really good. I loved the taco salads, had that 4 times on the trip I think......

I've never stayed at a value resort but I have eaten at Movies food court. I think the value resorts have the best family friendly food courts. You will not feel trapped for food. They offered a nice selection for the entire family and a grab n go section. Everyone could select what they wanted and you paid for it all at one cashier.

And welcome to the DIS boards! :wizard:

ASM had a great selection of food choices, I do not think that you will de disappointed.

We have stayed at the AS Sports, AS Music and the POP and really liked the food court at the POP the best. If I had to choose, I would stay at the POP.

As critical as I've been on the value resorts over the years, the one thing I always thought they did right was the food selections. Something for everything, lots of choices, and IMHO the prices are not out of line.

You will be fine with the food, I think. I was surprised at the quality--much better than I expected. We use the food courts a lot, and the variety was also surprisingly good at both movies and music.

We liked the food court at Pop but the groovy pizza delivery was way overpriced and wasn't that good. By the time the pizza got to the room I believe it was $37 and the special was maybe $24 it came with salads and drinks. I obviously didn't read the fine print. :confused3
