We just returned from staying at the WL for the first time. Absolutely LOVED the resort!!!

We were, however, disappointed in the size of the food court. After staying at a moderate and a value resort, it was quite different. Our last stay at ASMo, we were so impressed by the large food court and ate there several times. I remember having much more variety...I even had a taco salad.

Do the food courts get smaller the higher priced the resort?

The deluxe resorts don't have what most would consider a food court. They each have a quick service restaurant. Roaring Forks at WL, Maras at AKL, Gasparilla Grill at GF, Poly and CR have one as well but I can't remember the names. What the Deluxe and some of the mods have that the value resorts don't are sit down restaurants.

It's all a matter of preference.

Boardwalk does not have a food court either. GF has Gasprilla. It is a counter service/arcade. The best food courts are at the value resorts.

The Dolphin has Tubbi's, which is pretty large and opened 24 hours. It also shares with the Swan.

Is very large with plenty of seating. Also seating outside. But it is still not as large physically as a moderate food court.

Large selection of pre-made as well as a good made to order menu.

We loved the WL also and never had a problem with the "fast food", but I think it is smaller because the hotel is smaller and there are so many eating options at the neighboring resorts. Maybe if there are good eats all around a hotel they don't worry about a larger "food court". AKL is isolated and it is needed.
