We went here last year. We ate at the Smoky Creek Grill. That was pretty expensive for the 5 of us. I was just wondering if anyone came across any "values" there. I see that they have hot dogs - does anyone know their approximate cost?? Are there ANY good deals in Sea World???
Thanks
Kimba

Someone posted the menu site a while back. Checking it this morning even a children's hot dog meal is in the $6 range in the Sea Fire Inn.

There isn't a menu for Captain Pete's located over by the dolphin feeding pool, but they do have hot dogs and chicken tenders. We have never eaten there so not sure of the cost.

The only other idea I have is the $6.95 pizza at Voyagers. You gert a large slice of pizza and a platter of french fries. It is more than I can eat so if you have young children they could probably share. Or.....

What you might want to do for a better meal at the same cost(around $12) is get a combo platter at Smokey Creek and share it. We do that all the time. It is enough food for 2 adults. I just ask for an extra plate when I order the food. We also share the cheese cake which I love.

This is exactly the type of info I'm looking for. The whole family could do the chicken tenders for lunch and that would keep it resonable. The only thing is..those Shamu lunch containers. They are cute, but such a pain to haul around all day!! We had three and of course the kids didn't want to be bothered carrying them... I stopped in a store and asked for a bag to put them in!
Thanks for the info and the link, it will help me get my budget in order!!

We ate there today and have eaten a number of times in the past and agree that it is darn expensive to eat in Sea World. It's actually more expensive then eating in Disney, the Childrens meal is 2 times the price... but it comes in the cute Shamu lunch box and we already have 4 of at home!

The burgers are HUGE, they can very very easily feed 2 people. My dh got his own today and I left half a burger and felt so guilty. So there is one way to cut costs, get one meal to split.

You can bring your lunch with you, just be reasonable ( No Grill ) and you will be ok ! Much Healthier and Cheaper !
