Hey all me and dh will be staying at rpr in early may for 4 days and nights before our disney cruise. i am trying to figure out our spending money before hand and want to know if we are on target with food/drink prices. We are in our midtwenties and enjoy a few adult beverages while on vacation so we are stopping by the store on our way to the resort to pick up our pool drinks :-) we really only drink water otherwise.

Here's what I have so far:
$15 for breakfast (I'm hoping Starbucks for coffee and a sandwich or oatmeal)
$25 for lunch (burgers, salad, pizza.....)
$60 for dinner ( including 1 or 2 drinks each probably somewhere in citywalk)
$150 to go out to citywalk one night
$20 for snacks/drinks besides water

These are per meal per day not pp. Will it be easy to stick to or should we bring more? We also have money put aside for pictures/gifts/a wand for me :-) I really dont want to feel like we are on a budget, but we have to have some sort of guideline or we can go overboard very very quickly! Thanks for your help!

We as a family of 3 always budget $150 per day when we go. We are not alcohol drinkers either and my son is to young.:lmao: We always are under budget, but this leaves room for snack during the day.:thumbsup2

We budget the same $150.00 a day and have 2 sons but this will be the thrid year without them cause one moved over seas and the other is 15 and really not into theme parks only his music and friends at home but we still budget $150 a day for the two of us and if your wanting to buy drinks while there wether it be for one day keep in mind they can run from $5.50 for a bottle of beer to the highest I paid $10.50 for a mixed drink and just a heads up at RPR the tip is included in the price of the drink :thumbsup2

Lets see,
Boyfriend and I are going in december for 4 days 5 nights and heres what I have come up with thus far.

Each day includes a snack, Lunch Dinner, and $25 for drinks- We also have an AP so it discounts our food 10%, and I'm not sure if this is the chart that I already took that out on. Anyways-
I have it at roughly $85-95 dollars a day. One of those being a nice dinner (Mythos and Trex-Downtown Disney) .

For the light days with just counter service dinners I have it at $60 dollars.

Thanks for the heads up I didn't know tips were included at rpr! We will do the majority of drinking by the pool and i have that budgeted out separately. That's about what we regularly pay for drinks and $150 is double our normal bar tab we are light weights! LoL Looks like we are on track....I may bump it up to $150 a day to be on the safe side even though we don't have kids :-)

BTW none of this budget includes tips....I have that separate to because we are big tippers and know it

$150.00 a day is what we budget for food and then if we don't spend it all for the day then we use the rest for a drink or two and I am not a big drinker but been known to knock back a few :lmao:
