Hello everyone

I will be going to Universal next week, will be arriving monday afternoon and staying there until Sunday morning, going with my parents and will be going one day to Disney.

How much would you say we will be spending on food if we will be eating mostly counter service?

Well that really varies but first, how many people are in your group. What are their ages? Are they "eaters" (I am) or do you usually split meals. How many meals/ snacks (B,L, & D?) do you expect to eat? Any TS at night?

FYI, I use the Dis app on my phone and can not see any tickers, ever. So if there was a ticker at the bottom of you post I couldn't see it.
I am sure this is all operator error on my part.

It depends on what you order, but I would say $12-$17 per person per meal including beverages. There are several websites that have menus posted if you want to research further.

The sticky at the top of this page has menus as well.

If say $10-$17 is a good estimate per meal as well. You can probably do a bit cheaper if you search hard enough.

Thanks guys, is me and my parents, so the ages are 60, 59 and 29. I'm not much of a breakfast eater, and my mom is a very light eater, plus we are going to have breakfast at the leaky and 3 broomsticks (part of the package)

I just have no idea what do prepare for, usually one big meal is enough

Well since you ate having breakfast with the package and aren't very large eaters I would just plan for an early dinner. Then you only have to worry about one meal. If someone gets hungry they can grab a snack, there are plenty of snacks available.
