I think the food was fine. Better than the other character meals (buffet). A lot better than the Wine Country Trattoria. We've been there several times. I prefer the original kids menu. They try to get creative with the meals, but many younger (i.e. picky) kids will find the octopus hotdog and gold fish on mac and cheese weird. The regular pasta choice is a butter sauce I think. They got rid of the marinara (with a meatball "lollipop".) But there are still options. For the adult menu, it's fine but less choices. But really, they gave so much food/courses that went to waste.
But like others said, it's for the princesses. It saves you from lining up at a character meet and greet… which makes it worth it. They stop at each table. Along with the usual crayons, kids also get a paper crown and stickers to decorate. It seems, we always see Cinderella and Belle along with Ariel up front. We've also had Snow White, Tiana and Aurora different times.
