Food and Wine Sweet Sundays question

I have just signed up the four of us for the Sweet Sundays session on May 23. There is very little in the way of a description on what to expect, but I have also watched a podcast about Food and Wine that was issued by Disney Parks that talks about Sweet Sundays returning, and the two guys on there say that it starts with sparking wine and a light breakfast.

My first question is, will I get any additional information about the Sweet Sundays session other than my confirmation, and, does anyone know for sure if any breakfast will be included, because none of the information says anything about that.

That day will be our first in the parks, really one of our first days in DL, and we will be driving in from Rancho Santa Margarita. We will need to purchase AP's and trade in our GAD vouchers all before going on to the venue, and I am trying to figure out if we need to allow enough time to stop at La Brea bakery for breakfast too. There would be nothing worse than sitting thru a food demonstration when you are hungry. and I am also trying to figure out what time we will need to leave our son's house to get all this done prior to the seminar starting. We are all new to DL and not familiar with where we will be going, etc.

I can only tell you about my experience last year, but I am pretty sure they are doing it the same this year with the exception of a new venue.

You start with a light breakfast. For us, it included danish, a couple egg dishes, sausage and some sort of potato dish. There was also coffee and juices.

Next, the presentation starts and you watch three to four desserts being made. During this time, there were two different drinks being served...Magicale and Fairytale. Magicale was very good, and they were VERY generous with continuous refills. My glass never got more than half empty.

The desserts are served one at a time. They were quite small in our presentation...basically bite sized, which disappointed me. I did hear that other presentations served larger portions.

What are Magicale and Fairytale?

Magicale is a sparkling wine that, as I understand it, is only served in the Disney parks. It's REALLY good.

I went to the Sweet Sunday last year with toocherie here on the DIS. We saw Keegan Gerhard, and he made three desserts, and I thought they were all a decent size. I think last year it was $65. This year it is $70.

We just did a podcast about the Food & Wine that should come out this week on the DIS.
